Use The Search Bar!

Hello everyone, I see a lot of people yelling use the search bar ,when a noob or anyone that is not quite so advanced ask simple questions. Remember everyone starts off a noob and some of us are still at that stage. I mean all of the answers can be found in either the forum or on google, but we still ask questions for shortcuts.

no offense but I see a lot of comments stating how questions has been answered many times and some people stating that the OP should use the search button ect.... The truth is that some post or old and outdated,so just because a post was written last year this time with some meaningful information, means that the same info holds true a year later. New products,services , and information are introduced to the market everyday and the internet is constantly changing. You never know which member will bring something new to the table, the veteran or the noob.

Question? Do you think we should keep yelling " Use the search bar"! If that is the case we all could use the search bar or google for our own answers instead of trying to take shortcuts.

    Depends on the question.

    If the question is "how do I make 100$ a day" then yes - before asking this very basic question again, one needs to use the search bar.

    Then they can come back with a more refined question which will get better focused answers.

    That particular question is way to general.

    I love a good question - so don't get me wrong.

    But there are good questions and very general questions that don't give me nearly enough information on what the OP has already researched and what they know.

    If you don't know anything about something and you don't realize that a good search for information is an important skill for any business to have, then yes, I need to tell you to use the search first.

    Haha. No but for real, I saw a spam thread get nuked within five minutes... on a Saturday!

    I was impressed.

    Plus the quality of the questions being asked and the responses to those questions seem a smidge better than three to four months ago.

    I think it's best to use the search bar first. If you can't find the answers you're looking for, post your question in a thread.

    Sad to say some warriors have been here for at least 2-3 years or longer and do nothing but post threads asking question after question. The thing is if they used the search button they would realize someone asked the same question a few days or hours before.

    So it depends what the question is, but most of the most common questions are asked here almost everyday or week... Examples: Is fiverr dead, article writing, or Teespring dead ? or I have X in my account how can I turn it into XXX in a week ?

    I don't know who "we" is, but yeah, I would tell folks to use the search bar. Gotta learn from somewhere. People learn in different ways. To each their own. If people want to lolly-gag with their internet business, that's there problem. They'll see the result of their ignorance 3 years from now. So yes... USE THE SEARCH BAR!

      Uh, this is a marketing forum - and I highly doubt anyone here is a certified psychologist.

    Hey guys not fair poking fun at the Warrior just because he posts a lot of questions and has been here for a few years, as we all know some take a bit of learning to make a $$ or two

    But the Search tab like Jill wrote if it is the same old how do I ( insert question ) that has been done to death then yes I would and have written use the search tab because they are bloody lazy .

    I remember when I signed up and I was sent to link in an email to watch some videos a Warrior made they were very helpful but since he got nuked from the forum the videos are no longer.

    Not only should we be telling people to use the search bar, we should also be telling them to use google. Then there are the posts, "My site is down" we should be telling them to contact their hosting service. When they ask I can't configure Aweber with my form on my site, we should be telling them to contact Aweber.

    And most of all we should be telling people that post threads like this that they should be in the correct sub forum, like the Suggestion forum or the Off topic forum.
