The best is going to be WordPress.com without a doubt.

    Next would be Blogger.com

I would use those 2. They are both free and work really well. Your content will get indexed almost immediately.

You can use sites like wix.com or other free free web builders, if this is what you are talking about. So basically are looking for a free website builder to build a marketing site? I agree with the that Wordpress and Blogger are good to start with. Just google free website builders and see which one fits with what you are trying to do. I know a lot of people use wix.com as well.

Its better to get a cPanel based hosting (bluehost or hostgator ?) and install wordpress in it.
It will take just a little longer, but is worth.

I'll be sitting and watching as you all get your wordpress.com internet marketing sites banned for trying to sell or promote on them.

Safer with blogger, but really no site is safe on any unpaid platform.

If you can't afford a domain and hosting, you probably shouldn't be discussing "internet marketing" unless you are planning to discuss without selling.

  • Wordpress or maybe a html builder like Froont.

I would stay away from wordpress.com and go with the self hosted option as you will quickly outgrow the basic features of wordpress.com hosted site.

It really depends on what you want to do with it. Are you trying to attract new clients, sell a service or just write about topics that interest you.

I own a domain from name cheap and would be selling a service. What is the most effective and affordable hosting service?

WordPress.com will do the trick. However, if you can somehow afford it I'd manually host the site. If you are on a short budget just wait until GoDaddy does one of their $1 domain promotion and shared hosting can also be found for a few bucks per month. So we are really not talking about a high investment.

I gotta go with Wordpress with this one. Had i been good (design wise) with Wordpress earlier in the game, it would have been my main platform for site building. But i do use it for my blog, and it's great. I used to think it was MUCH MORE difficult to use than Blogspot.... but i was wrong.

The best...content creation. Learn how to search for keywords, and create high quality SEO optimized blog posts. Then focus on creating traffic and building a list. When I say content creation, don't limit that to blog posts, I would highly recommend shooting videos as well and making sure they are SEO optimized. I'd also recommend re-purposing your content. You can have a blog post and turn that into a video and an audio and an ebook, etc. Just maximizing your potential.

I would recommend you invest in a few training courses first then you focus on taking action. Make it your goal to create traffic, then to drive that traffic to a capture page and build your list. Since you're new, I'd recommend becoming an affiliate first because when creating a product, you need experience and results first. So it's best to be an affiliate. Everything is done for you so all you have to do is drive traffic.
