Landing Pages Recommendations & Advice Please

There's WP Profit builder and Instabuilder that are one time fees.

Btw, there's a review section of this forum where you can find reviews of both of those and possibly other options. I haven't posted in those threads but I'm not going to give my review here since it's not the appropriate section.

There are many services that I highly recommend and my first choice would be ThriveThemes because many great features been added and developer actively improving their plugins. 2nd it would be between OptimizePress and WPProfitBuilder. In term of cost, WPProfitBuilder would be popular choice but the support is the worst when purchased it during launch in 2014. By the way, still good theme/plugin to purchase. If you have more budget you could choose between LeadPages and ClickFunnel. Seem both have amazing review from many marketers. The only problem I hate Leadpages is because probably you could lost all thing like landing pages and so on if you decided not to continue their subscription.

Thrive Themes, Leadpages, and ClickFunnels are all subscription services, which is what the OP didn't want.

awesome you are interested in list building I guess as you want to build a landing page.

To answer your question: Kompozer is what you are looking for. It's super easy to use and does the "HTML Part" for you in the background. You can search up for some tutorials on Youtube. I believe it's free. You can really build anything with it.

I use optimize press for everything. Think I paid $197 for it.

It's funny because 90% of people trying to make money do not want to spend any money cause its like a wish for them I think. I just created a complete funnel at 100% no cost and the thing is converting mad....

I have Thrive Themes. It is a one time fee, so no, there is no need for paying for a subscription model if you don't want to.

It's no longer a one time fee. It's a membership subscription now. If you stop paying the subscription, support ends. That's way too risky for wordpress.

  Correct that Thrive Themes is a monthly subscription. But, what the OP wants is not the whole thrive themes membership, they only need Thrive Leads which can be purchased as a stand alone for a one time fee

  Its not that risky because you still have your content because its only Wordpress Plugin. The owner change recently because they keep improving the plugin. You pay for one price and get 2 great plugin which is Thrive Lead and Thrive Content Builder together with the all themes. . Compare to Leadpages because all hosted on their server, you could lost all data, this is risky. Even you can hosted in WP, but its through API from Leadpages. It sad that Thrive don't offer one time fee like before but still its great plugin for the cost you pay.

  This is precisely what makes it risky. An outdated WordPress plugin or theme should never be on your site. So if you stop paying for updates, you need to remove the plugin or theme for your own sake.

  If you're looking for standalone web pages, you can use Word to create the page. Then save as "filtered html", which will remove all the extra junk MS adds so different Office apps can talk to each other.
  
  If you want a freebie, use Open Office Writer instead. Save as a web page. OOW puts out pretty clean html from the start.
  
  You don't have to be an "html expert". Once you have a basic template, you can learn what you need to edit/update that template in an hour or two.

I'm a big fan of OptimizePress 2.0 for a few reasons:

1. It offers a once off payment for those of us who hate the monthly billing structure for tough times.

2. Their support is really good, responses are fast and they are very helpful. I've contacted support many times.

3. If you join the club, they have tons of great themes you can use and have a great looking landing page, squeeze page and membership pages that have tested to convert.

4. It's very easy to setup and easy to use, I literally setup pages within minutes and use it on several sites. My membership in my footer runs on it if you want to see how it looks and works.

5. Hundreds of big time marketers use it, I've seen it all over JVZoo, so you know it's trusted by a big part of the IM community already and for good reason!

I like OptimizePress and Leadpages. I also like designing them myself with my website building tool. Maybe you can find someone on Fiverr to create one for you.
