How does this app do instagram tasks from the dekstop?

I guess some of you guys already heard about that bot called Followliker. I really want to know the answer: how does this dekstop based app do instagram tasks from the dekstop?

It's instagram edition does all the main instagram tasks from the desktop like even "photo uploading" and "sending DMs to followers" but it's normally impossible to do these tasks on the pc, it's possible on mobile instagram app only.

This product's support sucks, the developer will not even give a clue about that. And software also doesn't use API or any other instagram web service. He is hiding this information like a secret.

What could be possibilities? What does this software use to do these tasks from the desktop in your opinion? If you are a programmer or not, I guess some of you guys can find out some interesting ideas.

I already bought it. But it works on just a table. It doesn't even use browser or any emulator.

But it's a social media bot. It doesn't even use any browser or android emulator. I have it. I also have bluestacks too but it's different.

ALL web browsers are "desktop apps".

They are installed on the hard drive on your desktop. They run (and often take of scads of memory) on your desktop. They store cookies, favorites, bookmarks, etc. on your desktop.

Unlike most desktop apps that you are familiar with, they read/write to/from your internet connection.

ANY desktop program that is written to access the internet can do so (including access to someone else's API), but is not required to present the information retrieved in a "browser"-like manner.

    Mary,

What does the software do that cant be done with the Instagram API?

If there is, maybe they built there own custom Instagram emulator into it.

Most instagram tasks. For example, it sends DMs to users automatically, it uploads photos to instagram from desktop etc. Even though it's impossible to do these tasks with instagram API or from desktop pc. It is normally only possible to do these tasks from mobile instagram app.

Lol. I don't think you got my question at all. I'm a computer programmer already, I already know these very simple basic things.

Maybe I misunderstood because of this:
"it's normally impossible to do these tasks on the pc, it's possible on mobile instagram app only."

No, I didn't mean that. I mean instagram doesn't allow us to use these tasks (such as sending DMs) from their browser (desktop) based website. It is only possible to do it officially from their mobile instagram app.
