HOW TO MAKE A WORDPRESS WEBSITE - 2016

Guys,

As i move on into improving my current profits with my website, a concept that i came up with back in 2014 called Bloommerce and solely developed it in wordpress and it has given me very pleasing results since then.

Being more of a creative guy than a tech one, starting my journey into wordpress reading freelance articles and videos online, I'd like to take advice of you people in WF to deal with some of the tech and IM challenges i meet enroute.

Can you guys suggest me any new plugins that become awesome this year which you believe will help improve the overall quality and revenue potential of the website?

Are you asking how to make a WordPress website or which Plugins to use? There are many videos on YouTube that show you how to make a WordPress website. As for as the Plugins, they are also explained in those videos.
I will be careful with the Plugins though because sometimes they try to sell you a lot of those plugin that are not necessary and may slow down your website.

Yes, i agree with you. At one point some of the plugins i had did clog the database and i had to clean it all from scratch. By the way are you aware of any plugin that you know of which lets me to create ad campaigns with leading ad networks from inside my wordpress?

I'm currently using All in One Security for protection, Google Adsense for Adsense Monetization, Yoast SEO and WooCommerce currently. These are some of the major plugins in use.

Is there any plugin that you know of which lets me to create ad campaigns with leading ad networks from inside my wordpress?

I think your question is too broad, plugins are really just tool that will help you to implement your goal, especially on your site.

To ask the forum to recommend any plugin, you have to tell us what plan do you have for your website first, what kind of website, what kind of business model, what kind of monetization? etc.

The website is an Ecommerce Blog and has 7 built-in revenue streams on page. The site was built to perform both with organic and paid traffic to neutralize the ad spend by generating on page revenue from the incoming traffic even before conversion. The content presentation has been designed to act as a honey pot for optins and maximize conversions.

I'm testing various elements of the website currently and plugins issue that we've been discussing is just one of them. What i rather meant about the security plugin i use, All in One Security and to know if there is any better alternatiave for the same.

There have been closer to 300 intrusion attempts at the site so i'm looking for a plugin that could do still better.

You shouldn't use WordPress plugins just because they are popular. Only use them if you think it can improve quality of your blog. As the administrator, only you can know what your sites needs. Having bunch of popular but unused plugins will slow down your site.

I can only echo other comments. Don't concern yourself with what is popular. What works for one business might not be suitable for yours.

Start with one plugin - Akismet - and get about building your site. Only add in a new plugin when you really need it. This attitude not only ensures you have as few plugins as required (rather than more than necessary), but also keeps your focus on the current layer of your business development.

In a few months from now you might have a beautiful and efficient website, ticking over with a couple of hundred visitors per day. It's at that point you might ask yourself how you can capture more of them to your list - and that will lead you to online reviews of various opt-in methods and plugins.

Case in point: I built a membership last year. Took me months. The finished product had a good engine, looked decent, got visitors, and produced data. In recent times I decided it needed a makeover to appear like more of a community hub (to match new features and improve retention), and that's when I started fishing for plugins like UserPro. But if I had started out with the aim of creating the ultimate, perfect website, then I'd likely never have got to where I am today.
