Amazon Affiliate blog marketing tips for a niche market - tips?

Heyhey.

Whats the best way to direct free traffic to my blogs on drones that I'll be posting in the coming days (10 of them). I'm specialised in this domain and looking to open up another revenue stream on top of my income from clients. So far I've got as far as Amazon Affiliate links on blogs posted on my social media accounts. Will this be enough or should I be paying for SEO services?

There will be fresh and original content (including personal tutorials, pictures and videos) and monetise this through my Amazon Affiliate account (open to better ideas though) but have no idea how to direct traffic and do any of the backlinking/keywording stuff on my wordpress site.

I wrote a couple test blogs so ignore the content on those I was just testing to see how to implement my Amazon Affiliate stuff. Happy to pay someone to help me just PM me.

I have also summaries my plan below
Looking for harsh/accurate feedback from you pro's.

To the mods, if you could keep this post here instead of 'website feedback' that would be appreciated as I am asking specifically about a marketing plan here.

Here is my plan so far:

In a nutshell:

• Start writing drone, behind the scene, and filmmaking blogs
• Scatter my own content throughout these blogs.
• Post blogs to relative forums and my social pages.
• Allow each blog to be sharable to Facebook, Instagram, twitter etc.
• Build email list through each blog.
• Fill each blog with amazon affiliate link where appropriate.
• Email new subscriber list blog posts regularly.
• Put amazon affiliate store on website that sells drone and filmmaking equipment that I personally love and recommend.
• Create my own viral content and use throughout.

Things I need help with:

• Driving traffic whilst saving as much money as possible.
• Using this traffic to get people reading the blogs in large numbers.
• I have zero knowledge in keywords and linking but am willing to pay someone possible to help me.
• General SEO

Thanks!

Adam

What I've done for free traffic in this niche is write articles for online/offline publications which target enthusiasts and professionals.

This is a huge market, not only for the private sector, but interests range over a broad spectrum in industry, scientitic, academia, agriculture, sports casting, news media professionals, law enforcement, etc.

As I have found in every conceivable commercially viable niche, writing articles for publications which are read by targeted demographics is the fastest and most effective method to generate massive quantities of convertible traffic.

Perhaps some magazines to consider are; "Drone Magazine", "Rotor Drone", "Flying Magazine", "National Geographic", etc. Virtually all offline magazines have online editions.

One of the recommendations of search engine optimization is to post on pertinent blogs even if they may be regarded as your competitors. Try this search string if you haven't already to find some places you can give input: "drones" + "blog".

This niche has a lot of viral videos in it. I would find viral videos on YouTube with drones. Post them to your Facebook page and boost the post to get some initial traction and there is a good chance they will get a lot of organic reach. If you want to create your own videos I would also watermark the videos with your website. Give call to actions in the videos, etc. Facebook could be a huge source of traffic for this niche.

Get yourself a list of keywords related to your niche and build content around that. Try to target lower competition, long tail keywords in your articles. "Top 5 Photography Drones Under $1,000" etc. Once you have a list of keywords the ideas for content should start to flow.

  • Guest blogging as many have mentioned already is a good start.

Any equipment you have be sure to write detailed reviews on them and share with the manufacturers, if it shows them in positive light they'll be likely to share it on their networks.

If what you are writing is truly "behind the scenes" then I imagine places like reddit would love some content like that.

If you know about the topic, the best way I know to direct free traffic is,

    - Make consistent quality posts with images and related youtube videos, (2-5k+ words)
    - Comment around on popular related blogs and forums with it in your signature
    - Once you have a decent amount of content, start trading guest posts
    - I should have mentioned this first but make sure you're collecting peoples emails! Either offer them a free ebook or simply tell them to subscribe to your list, whatever works better.

Be prepared for a long haul. Blogging is a game of patience

    All the best!

  • My strategy is to focus on these things:

    1. SEO- onsite and offsite SEO- creating more valuable (optimized) content and focusing on building quality links- from high PR websites that are also highly content-based
    2. Maximize the use of social media- creating FB pages, twitter, Youtube, probably Pinterest and Instagram. The focus is content as well based from how content is marketed towards these channels like for Facebook, it appears that content with photos (infographics) works well than simply posting a link to an article. In Youtube, review videos would be great.
    3. Start off with list building. Having your own subscription will help you get consistent traffic all of the time. Make sure that those traffic count by making people subscribe to your website.

Your plan is very good I think in general you can always outsource SEO, via warriorforum or websites like upwork. Another option is learned it by yourself it takes time but it will be more beneficial in long term .

Regarding to traffic I think that you niche videos can have potential to go viral if you will experiment little bit so push them thru social media.

Social media is one of the best sources of free traffic you can find. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube. Make videos on the subject and post them on YouTube. Also, build an email list. The best way to do this is by creating a squeeze page, where you can give something for free within your niche. You can become an affiliate for ClickBank and see if you can find something there about drones that you can give for free, or very cheap, just so you can build a nice, solid email list. It can be an ebook... Hope I could help with some ideas.

      All the best.

An audit article acquaints the item with your web journal perusers, and in the meantime your assessment guides them to comprehension why they ought to be purchasing it. Here are couple of things that you ought to never forget while composing a survey post for your subsidiary item:

Surveys ought to be straightforward. More often than not, individuals simply concentrate on the great focuses around an item and neglect to specify any drawbacks. A fair audit ought to incorporate both sides of the coins. Keep in mind to additionally add item pictures, and give all the helpful data you bring to the table about the item.....

    I have some comments:
Put amazon affiliate store: this is useless. You must embed the affiliate link within the review.
Driving traffic whilst saving as much money as possible: you can contact with other related bloggers and ask them for your guest post with back-link to your site. You can promote your site through social media as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram also.
You need some make money posts to make sale, other posts will be support, link to these posts.

I am an Amazon affiliate marketer from 2010 so I can help you if you need, just PM me.
