How to get experts Testimonials for your book/product ?

How do I get testimonials for my new e-book from industry experts ? Would it work to e-mail them free copy and ask for their opinion ? Or should I offer them money or testimonials exchange or what ?

You need to offer something in return whatever it is. When pitching to experts there needs to be am exchange of value.

Ideally you would have mentioned them in the book, that would have probably got your foot in the door so to speak.

If you can print a hard copy and send to them wrapped in a nice gift box with a note asking for a review I think you'll have a better chance then just a standard outreach email.
