Recommend Tools for Blogging?

Curious on what everyone is recommending for tools / services that are a "must have" for a blog, that are also budget friendly.

Waiting to hear from everyone.

This is jumping ahead a bit, but once you start publishing your blog articles, make sure you have 'share' buttons in place that will allow readers to easily share your content with their friends/family and set up social media accounts for your blog that will allow you to connect with more users and help funnel more traffic back to your blog.

    Best of luck!

Not much,, Autoresponder... Others you add later when you need.. But getting email subscriber from day 1 would be one of the most important thing you could do for your online business. There are no specific must have.. just start your blog and you will learn more from time to time what you required. Simply adding "must have tools" used by others will not help you if you don't need it.

I am assuming that you will be using WordPress, as most people do for their blogs.

Here is a list of plugins, themes, and tools that I would be lost without.

    Plugins:

    Akismet
    Jetpack
    Yoast SEO
    Updraft Plus (for backups)
    Wordfence
    Pretty Link Lite
    Shortcodes Ultimate
    TinyMCE Advanced
    WP Opt-in Boxes
    Google XML Sitemap
    WP Super Cache
    PageBuilder by SiteOrigin
    WP PostViews
    WP Legal Pages
    WP Squeeze Bar

    Theme:

WP 7in1 - This theme allows you to easily create 7 different kinds of sites. It's a premium theme and I believe it is currently priced at $37.

    Tools:

SumoMe - It's a fantastic service that has list building tools, social media sharing tools, and more. It's free to use but there are also premium features if you want to upgrade. If you are looking for a great pop up opt-in form they have one that you can use for free.

Google Analytics - I think it goes without saying you need this to see vital stats for your blog.

Feedburner - A great way to add blog subscribers if you are just starting out and cannot afford an autoresponder. They have an opt-in box you can use to capture blog subscribers and ever time you post they will get an email with the post inside.

    Content:

We all get writers block from time to time, and so here are a few places where I find good content when I need it fast.

    Constant Content - https://www.constant-content.com/

Swarm Content - A Marketplace For Exclusive Articles and Blog Posts

Ghost Bloggers - Buy & Sell Unique Content - GhostBloggers™

I love blogging and I hope that info helps you all out!
