Is business sooo bad you have to spam?

I've been getting spammed lately with interesting offers from legitimate companies, people I normally would not mind doing business with.

But it's still spam and I don't like it. I won't do business with people who spam me. I've always had spam but it was always garbage from sleazy types without even a real business.

So what's up? Is business that bad?

I agree. Many Goobers have resorted to this as well. Sad but true.

Is it the company spamming you? Or is it one of their affiliates?

To be more specific it's web designers and SEO promoters. But these are not the usual fly-by-nights that have always spammed. They have legitimate companies with a bit of history and, at least till now, a good reputation.

That's why it amazes me, but I guess business really is that bad.

I don't know, but you get a little bit worried about the state of someones business when you start getting fax offers for bluetooth equipment and hygienical products for disinfection, to fight the swine flu, from a company with the name "Chair & More" (translated from norwegian) whose main product range, when checked on the net, seems to be furniture, textiles and so on.

      Hi Oscar,

I do consider the spam offers, than the concomitant of the life. And as I noticed their numbers are raising day to day. One of the reason may be the present economical situation when every Tom and his dog is trying to sell you something. I haven't any problem with that. I just do not like the methods they want to persuade me.

I know and understand that everybody needs to secure himself on some way.

I can imagine that someone is in so bad situation that he need to swim od dead. If he doesn't know other way then he tend to spam people to gain orders. I hate the spam, so my finger is above the delete button and I push it diligently. Ergo, I don't buy from them.

      Have a nice day,

      Sandor

If you sign up for lists, you will be spammed.
Solution, Don't sign up or have a separate email for list signups.
If your email isn't posted publicly in a text format and you do not
sign up for lists then you will get little to no spam.
