Packing up and Selling, I'm tried of being a webmaster.

Hello!

Well I'm packing up and selling, I pretty much give up webmastering and developing. The time, money and most importantly effort could have been more fruitful in a real world start up, and just might start making cakes.
God dam the internet is almost as hard as real life, I remember reading that in an ebook and well only until I tried it fo myself did I believe it.

I need to get rid of MMRuNe.com (money makers rumour network) but wheres the best place to sell domains? There seems to be many websites offer the service but not sure where the main crowd of people are buying and selling. Sedo.co.uk seem good but where else? I've tried ebaying my other websites but that isn't going too well.

    Try a listing at flippa.com. I think you can sell just domain names there.

      Here's a suggestion;

      Get a Unique Domain like; TacomasBestDentist.com

      Put up a sample website, 1 or 2 pages.

      Send a Giant PostCard to 20 dentists in Tacoma, with a picture of the home page and a Banner that says; THIS SITE AVAILABLE! CALL 555-1234!

      Charge an initial fee plus monthly.

    Hmmm.

    looking at the name you are selling, my conclusion are as follows:

    1. Non Typo generic - Your domain is not having a quality that it can be typed on any browser without searching for such name from the key word if used for a site.

    2. Mindsare - Your domain, when mentioned will never stay or implant on the mind of your visitor. For example, if I mention honesty.com , it will never be forgotten. It has mindshare.

    3. Not a Good Acronym: This is not a good acronym and so will not sell. Even when it is monetized for parking, it will not bring traffic.

    This domain I am afraid will not sell...
