My 5,000th Post here and this is what it means to me....

....First of all I want to take a moment to thank all those people in my Life and all my fans that have been so instrumental and made it possible for me to reach for the stars and make my Dreams come true. These people have been my inspiration, my motivation, my "kwan", and the fact of the matter is you peeps Complete ME

Pops (my daddy)- You have been a absolute blessing in my Life. A wonderful person who has meant just so much to me. I know sometimes you get a little down on yourself. You feel as though you could have done more. But Pops I can never thank you enough for all that you have done for us kids.
And really you have been a complete angel
Those wire hanger beatings when I refused to finish the broccoli on my plate in 4th and 5th grade were really not that bad. In fact, every time that hanger dug into my skin (nicking my cervical vertebrae just a little but not bad) and the blood trickled out down to the bottom of my buttocks it taught me an important lesson.
It gave me the ability to accept pain and work through it. It gave me perseverance and a never give up attitude. So I thank you for that. Without that lesson of humility there would be no way I could stand the incessant but rightful scolding and correction by some of the top Internet Marketers in the World like SteveB, JohnMcabe, gjabiz, Raydal,Jason Kanigan, Paul Myers, Tom Addams among others.

Mom- You have been the true inspiration in my Life. I have never seen such a strong assertive female. Just the light that shines so bright
When I wet the bed sheets in 2nd grade and you stuck them out on the front porch
for the whole neighborhood to see and later tacked poloraids on those sheets of me playing with my willy I know it was NOT to humiliate me. (Even though the Johnson and Scmidt Kids called me PP Robbie all the way up thru the 10th grade) It was out of Love. Without such a strong , intelligent and loving female role model I would have never learned how to work with other such strong and highly intelligent and capable females like KayKing, sbucciarel, Lisagerts, MissTerra, Lindy, HeySal,Jill Carpenter, Former member Alexa Smith. among others

Stepdad Johnnie - Johnnie , I always considered you my true Daddy. Really. Just someone who I have always aspired to be. More than anyone else on the Earth
I relish the times when I was going into Middle School and you took me behind our house at
the railroad tracks where you gave me a pack of cigs and told me to "smoke up, Robbie" . You got me addicted to cigarettes and were even caring enough to take the time to develop a step by step program where by the time I was in Highschool I could be up to 2 packs a day and be Joe Cool. Johnnie, I not only exceeded that goal but I managed to get up to 3 packs by then and they were non menthol. I know people shook their heads at this feat but you constantly reminded me to be bold and to buck the trend, no matter what.
And to always be goal oriented !
Johnnie, this was so instrumental in my Life later on as I did the same thing with my Backlinking system in IM. I didn't care if fellow Imers shook their head in disgust at me. I was going to be bold and unapologetic and put my scammy backlinks anywhere and everywhere I could find . And I set goals just like you taught me ,Johnnie. I aimed for a thousand backlinks a day using black hat software. And Johnnie I surpassed that goal as well, hitting just over 1,500 placed backlinks a day.
So thank you Johnnie for your lesson of being different no matter
how many people gave me the middle finger and sticking to my goals and achieving them

Brother charlie - charlie I know I can't count how many times I have said I "hate You" over the years. But deep down you know the Love is there. ALWAYS!!
And this Love knows no bounds my beautiful baby brother !
That being said you were just a sh!tty little b@stard. Plain and as simple as that. You tormented the hell out of me . That time you put two Gillette razor blades in my jock strap before basketball practice. I spent two damn days in the ER because of that. It was hell. It took me a long time to forgive you for that. And my scars are there for my wife to see every damn night still today. But after all these years I really want to say thankyou for putting those razor blades in my jock strap.
It also was invaluable later in my Life.
This lesson taught me that there will ALWAYS be little twits hanging around to put 'razor blades in your underwear' but a person needs to be forgiving and learn move past it all. It enabled me to deal with Forum Marketing trolls like HN and Walking Carpet. And just forgive them and go forward. So thank you my brother Charlie.

Anyway, to the rest of you guys who I may have not mentioned and to ALL of my fans Worldwide ...I also want to give you a sincere thank you for the last 8 years or so of making my dreams become a reality. I have learned from many of you and hopefully I added to the Community a little bit.

It's been quite a ride. Both Good and Bad.

And just remember guys without the Bad the Good would definitely not be nearly as sweet

Cheers,
PP Robbie

P.S. Oh yeah, one last thing ...to all you guys struggling out there, the best advice I can give you( along with learning the nuances of running an online Biz) is to learn to communicate, learn to express yourself effectively, and learn how to talk to others and learn their problems and struggles and then find a no nonsense way to help them with those PROBLEMS and STRUGGLES. And show sincere Empathy in the midst of all this. Do not underestimate the importance of Empathy. If you skip over it ,your Prospects will pick up on it like a beagle on a fox much to your downfall

P.P.S. Notice I CAPITALIZED two important words to focus on in the preceding paragraph

      Robert,

I sincerely hope your post was tongue in cheek. But if it wasn't, may I just congratulate you for overcoming all of the abuse in your life and turning out to be a rather well adjusted normal person and not a serial killer or something, lol!

      May you have continued success!

I hope that you at least got a WF T-shirt, but congrats!

I was personally going for the biggest Thread count, and got the biggest visitor thread here, with 57k,

I was going for 100k, to see if it was going to mess up the formatting, or get a T-shirt, but that ended up in a heap!

Three years of posting down the drain, sniff!

But at least this forum is going in the right direction?

I devote a substantial portion of each week to reading different sources of IM information around the web. Like most of us, I have my favourite blogs, favourite newsletters, favourite groups, favourite forums, and of course my favourite people. For me, you fall into that favourite category. So, yes, although you joke, I'm most definitely a fan. You share information generously, sure, and for that I'm very grateful, but I think what I like most is your unwavering ability to give important insights into whatever is being discussed. It's a talent, but it's also something that requires years of industry experience. I suppose what I'm trying to say is this: you cut through the jumble of information, whatever it may be, and get right to the heart of the matter. For the eternal student, myself, and for every other type of student, your participation on WF is very much appreciated.

I'm looking forward to the next 5,000!

    Cheers! - Tom

    Thanks for the mention, D.

Incidentally, I also posted my 5000th post recently...but it was moved to the Mind Warriors section after a short time so nobody can see it. Which is a shame because it is 100% about "making money online."

After awhile, you start seeing certain names and know there will be a quality question or response. And I'm happy that yours is on my mental list, Robert. Keep up the good work!
