INTERNET MARKETING ALGORITHM?

Creating my first blog soon and in the works of placing all the abundant information on the web. Tell me what i'm missing

-Find niche (usefulness)
-create website & domain (aesthetic)
-create content (humanistic)
-use the proper words to get picked up by Google (efficient)
-AdSense on your website
-Promote affiliate products on site (banner/ads)
-test & share with your friends/circle (social)
-collect e-mails (leverage)
-use e-mails to sell your own product or ready made or affiliate products
-Promote own ready made product on site (banner)
-Ad swap with relevant websites

    I think you're missing a source of traffic that will help you gain people's trust. Traffic is the MOST important factor and sometimes the hardest part. I was told when I first started that if you open up a big beautiful store in the middle of the desert, who is going to come?

    The old fashion way is what I feel has proven to be most effective. It's telling people through IM chats online what your website is about and how it will help them.

      Looks good, the missing ingredient though might be ACTION taking MASSIVE ACTION. I think when I first started I planned too much and wasted a bunch of time so although you have a plan in place don't sit around trying to perfect it, just get stuff done now!

    I think it's important to pick a niche you're interested in and care about. Most people only think about money. If your goal is to be useful when you pick a niche, you're already way ahead of 98% of the marketers.To answer your question, you're missing one of the most important component from your list. Data architectures & data systems. Most marketers forget about this and have no idea how to get any value out of their data. If you can't control and analyze your data, you will lose control over your busines.

    I hope no one will give me a hard time for posting this because this seems like a promotion of my services. I am just trying to be useful and maybe promoting a little bit as well...

    Sounds like a solid plan! The only thing you need to be careful with is AdSense and affiliate links on the same website. Sometimes both together do not bring more money but rather they are killing each other. The reason is that if I have a good affiliate offer I want that people buy it, not click on an AdSense ad that redirects them god knows where and brings me less than a dollar - before they have even seen the awesome affiliate product. Both can work together but it has to be tested what is more profitable: only AdSense, only affiliate links or both.

      Be careful when using Google Adsense for New sites. Had my account disapproved recently because of my New site. Let the site run be SEO friendly and gain traffic before trying to monetize it. Cheers!
