Have you tried Article Marketing?

I tried it, made a little cash, but writing articles is hella boring so I gave up. I outsource articles now and just use them for creating backlinks to help my sites in the SERPS.

Depends on what you're writing about and how you're marketing them, but I've always found that my article marketing efforts are decently effective (especially in niches that are not as competitive). It all comes down to how good the articles are.

There's a way to make money by outsourcing in article marketing, not just for SERPs. You just have to find out how

$3000 per month is possible with this, at least that's what happen to me

A lot of the time people don't pick the right keywords when they use article marketing. Choosing the right keywords is absolutely crucial to your success in article marketing.

I've tried the automated book marking and RSS posting with a little success. I find sending spun articles to a wheel structure of multiple web 2.0 sites the best for me.

I found that as well, it seems to me that the people who need to use spinners and submitters might just be trying to build their business the easy way.

I'm not sure there is an easy way.

I've been making money only with bum marketing recently. Made a bit over 500$ in the past month or so. You call it bum marketing and yes there is a difference between the two.

I have not found success because I haven't written more than 20 articles. I gotta force myself to write. I know I would find success with article marketing if I submitted massively.

It has been effective for me but I must admit that I have had only a limited success with article marketing given the level of competition in my niche. I think it should work better in lesser competitive niches. But, boy, it's hell lot of work.

It can be a lot of work, but once you get it going, you can profit from it for a long time. Your content can get picked up a ton of places, you can put it a ton of places all giving you a chance to make sales.

There are so many different things you can do with it as well. You don't always have to point it to an offer or a landing page. You can point it to a optin page and have a chance to sell to the list over and over again.

I have got some traffic from articles. I find it really hard to write my own articles. It really helps if you can find someone to write them for you at a good rate. I never have to worry about articles not getting accepted or any other problems.

Listen... article marketing works if you plan it out. You can't expect to write 100 articles and pray they are going to drive hundreds of visitors to your website daily.

You must do proper keyword research in addition to building backlinks to your articles. There are hundreds of tips, tricks, and guides posted around this forum. Search feature can be your best friend if you are new to a certain aspect of IM.

If you cannot write to capture an audiences attention bum article marketing/article marketing will not work as wellas it could for you. Contrary to what you have been told or read you just cannot slap some information up and expect it to sell. You must engage the reader.

Here Is the format i use

1.tell them what there problem is
3.make it a little worse then they think it might be with an example
3.give them one tip to fix it
4.offer your website as a link to the solution to their problem.

Use bold sub headings,2-3 sentence paragraphs, bullet points and keep the articles around 300-325 words, most people suck at reading and anything to long will turn them off!

You also must pick keywords that are problem keywords, for example an article titled "weight loss" will not convert as well as one titled "How to lose the last Stubborn five pounds"

Like anything else online, the devil is in the details...

You can write hundreds and hundreds of articles, but unless you write compelling headlines that get people to open and read your article, create enticing content that balances helping people while leaving them wanting more, a resource box that gets a high percentage of people to click through, and oh yes.....proper keyword research, you just aren't going to get the kind of results that the best in the business will get time after time.

It's more than just hard work, though that matters too. It's about sweating the details - the small stuff - that matters in this game.

A lot of people make article marketing WAY too hard. There seems to be this notion that you have to write a lot of articles to have any shot at earning decent money. That's just plain untrue.

You CAN make good money banging out tons of articles (or outsourcing it). But you don't HAVE to do it that way.

Once you discover the right way... the smart way... article marketing starts working amazingly well. And you don't spend all your life as a slave to your keyboard. The keys have been mentioned (at least in passing) in several of the responses in this thread. It's pretty much right in front of you if you've never been successful at it.

Article Marketing WORKS. Period!
It works for me and it works for several others too!
However, today when everyone is an aspiring article marketer, in order to stay ahead of the competition, you have to conduct very research very diligently. Always, publish unique articles that's interesting to read and the resource box must be written in a "clickable" manner.
