Any DAP - Digital Access Pass experts out there that can answer my questions?

I have some questions about setting up payments for a membership site that uses DAP (Digital Access Pass). I'm going to use Stripe and Clickbank.

First of all, are there any DAP experts out there?

Thanks.

    Are you kidding???

Everyone's watching the NFC championship right now!!

    Seriously though... No.

    At least I'm not.

Are you asking for resumes before you let anyone know what you actually want?
Why not ask your question right off the bat? It will:
    1. get more responses, and
    2. reduce the time it takes to actually get to the answer you need

I haven't heard back from DAP yet so my questions are about how to set up two (or more) payment options within DAP. I'll be using Stripe to process the orders now and a little later I will also use Clickbank.

I want to offer two ways to pay for a membership to my site. One is for $14.95 per month and the other is for $135.00 per year. I don't know if I need to have two different order buttons on my sales page or will the choice for the two payment options be listed on the order page that is generated with the DAP code.

I'm at an impasse now, so here are my questions:

      1) In order to get the two different payment options for the same product, do I need to duplicate the product in the DAP Admin even though both payment options are for the same product?

      2) If I do need to duplicate the product in DAP to be able to offer two payment options, does that mean that every time I want to update the membership site with new content or whatever that I need to make the changes to each individual "product" in the DAP Content Responder? (There has to be a simpler way than that to offer two payment options for the same product, right?)

      Thanks

Digital Access Pass has not been updated in a very long time... DAP looked promising in the beginning but now the authors have moved onto pimping out their books and neglecting to add any more features.

Having said that I'm still using it on a website but looking into other options as there's better software out there that's actually updated with new features.

To answer your question yes you'll have to create 2 products (order now buttons) and recreate everything for the 2 membership payment options. There's better membership plugins out there...

No, there's no need to recreate everything when offering multiple payment options with DAP when using Stripe. If you're offering 3 payment options (like I did), then you would create two "dummy products" and then chain the two dummy products to the real product. (The third payment option would go directly to the real product.) Product chaining is very easy to set up in DAP. Only downside is that chaining duplicates each user in the DAP Admin which means the Admin has to log in once in a while and delete the "dummy" dupes. It only takes a couple seconds to identify and delete the dummies in the Admin, but until they are deleted, they will continue to appear at the bottom of the customers My Content page as if they had access to two different products which could result in some confusion. (That is why you don't want to totally recreate the same product with it's own Content Responder for each dummy product.)

Regarding updates... they had three or four last year and the latest was in June. I dunno, is last June a "very long time"?
