Too many Products and Confused.

I don't know if anyone else (newbie) has this problem but here it is.
I am on disability and have the time to build a business online. Money is a little tight but here is my main problem.
I get so many promotions that looks so good that much as these warrior threads are, today they are on the first page but within a day they are on page 2-3 and I am looking at the same products from a different marketer and getting confused.
I'm not in good health and just need a starting place. As soon as I think I've found it, I've forgotten which promotion it was. The result is that I start all over again or else re read past emails resulting in more confusion.
Another problem is that at times I need to time purchases with my monthly check. And with the number of promotions each day I can't keep up.
It sounds like I'm whining which I am but I am 58 years old and until my heart attacks and brain impairement (mild) I worked and took pride in production. I'd like to do it again because for one that is the mindset I grew up with and for another I just don't trust our government here in the US.
So what I am asking for is guidance as to which program you would recommend (affilate or not) to start with that a person could reasonably expect to earn $300-500 monthly to start and that is scalable.
Keeping in mind a limited budget, a mind that has problems with sequencing and medical emergiencies that interrupt any daily activity. THat is on occasion I just will not be able to look after day to day operations. Nor engage in anything that involves too many steps.
So is there anything out there that comes close to what I need.
Also I'd like to thank many marketers who being on their list has kindly responded to questions and inquiries.
Another thing I'd like to know is there once I've found "that program" to start with, is there anyway that I can not necessarily unsubscribe but rather put emails on hold until I need what they are offering?
I really hate to unsubscribe first because I do get lots of valuable information and secondly because I don't want to 'hurt' someone by unsubscribing. After all they did in lots of cases "bribe" me with a free and valuable gift.
Any guidance?
