Is this the right time to approach affiliates?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi;

Vendor here. Need advice. Kinda hitting a glass ceiling. Not sure exactly what to do as the next step. If you're experienced, I appreciate your advice:

I split tested my offer against one of the best offers on CB....

My offer:
268 opt ins
26 sales
4 upsales

Competition:
481 opt ins
12 sales
7 upsales

Points:
1 - Spent about $70 per day on traffic.
2 - I made more from my offer than I made from the competition.
3 - I am making little profit (not mention able) ...ROI is not negative
4 - ** I was looking at analytics and I saw one affiliate sent me 170 links and made 4 sales of $47 product. Is that good or bad news? He stopped sending so I assume it's not very good.

My question:

1 - Is this the right time I approached affiliates?
2 - If so, how's it to buy ads from CB?
3 - I have ideas to improve the vsl, it's gonna take time to test. Would you do that or I spent time finding affiliates?

  Neither. Both those rejected my ads.

  The good news is my earnings are USD but I pay for traffic in AUD. The conversion is insane. That's almost $2457.07 AUD.
  
  I really really really have to find someone who can push me scale this.
  
  I think I am gonna post an add in CB to get affiliates.

  What were you using for traffic, George? Solos? Social Media?
  
  Is the competition somebody the traffic might have been more familiar with than you?
