$100 A Day Online Business Checklist For Newbies/Struggling Marketers

Here is a checklist I put together that anyone can use to start a brand new online business that can be scaled to six figures annually. This is not a new secret method or shiny loophole, but an ethical and applicable way to build a solid online business from the ground up.

1. Choose A Hot Niche
  • Research all the universal problems in that niche
  • Research the solutions to those problems
  • Find products that address and solve the problems in that niche
  • Purchase those products, apply what you learn and get real results for yourself
  • Take pictures/videos of those results which you will use for leverage later on

2. Create a product/case study
  • Create a blog where you will be able to make posts about your niche and what you've learned
  • Post daily based on your experience and not theory
  • Decide whether you're going to use your case study as a product or you can use it to help you promote the product that helped you achieve your results
  • Create your case study and/or product by outlining a step-by-step process that involves you going from problem to solution and how someone else would be able to duplicate the process
  • If you're going to create your own product decide on whether or not you're going to create a funnel of products or just one (creating a funnel is recommended as opposed to just having one standalone product)
  • Seek out advice and help from a trusted marketer who is experienced with product creation and join his/her coaching program or hire them to help you launch your product
  • If you can't afford a coach, reverse engineer what he/she has done with previous products and apply the process to your product.

3. Build Up Hype
  • Before launching your market you need to make sure the market is ready or at least aware of it
  • Create a short version of your product or a teaser version of your product that you can give away for free to build an early bird list
  • An early bird list is a list of people who are looking forward to the launch of your product and would like to be notified when the product launches
  • Build your early-bird list by getting your free giveaway report/ebook/video in front of your target audience (free/paid traffic generation)
  • Forum marketing, Youtube video marketing, Facebook ads, Banner ads, and Solo ads are some great ways to get traffic to your offer
  • Build up a list of at least 100 people to ensure that you know there is a decent interest in your product

4. Pre-Launch
  • Before you launch your product you need to contact other product owners and affiliates in your niche and let them know about your product launch
  • Give them a review copy so they can check out the product
  • Ask them for feedback on the product, sales page, etc...
  • And ask them in a repectable manner if they would support your launch by promoting it
  • If you're dealing with a marketer who has a large buyer's list and has a lot of experience in product launches you may want to do a personal joint-venture with him/her
  • A joint venture would normally consist of you and your partner splitting the profits 50/50 with some agreement on the duties of each individual in the process of launching the product
  • Decide whether you will be launching on the warrior forum or launching on your own self-hosted site
  • If launching on the warrior forum you will need to submit your thread at least 48 hours before you launch and then make your thread visibile on the launch date

5. Launching The Product
  • Email your early bird list once you go live, and send a reminder to your affiliates/jv partners
  • Make sure to be available throughout the day to answer any customer questions
  • Enjoy the constant paypal notifications you will receive after each sale
  • Email the people on your early-bird list who have not opened your emails continuously throughout the day
  • Whether the launch goes well or not, stay positive and look at it as a great learning experience wither way

6. Post-launch
  • After the launch you can focus on sharing valuable content with your new list
  • Promote related offers as an affiliate
  • Promote any coaching or advanced courses you create
  • Start working on launching your next product
  • Keep your subscribers happy and active by staying in constant communication with your list

I hope this was helpful and if you're experienced in this area and would like to add some tips/advice that will be useful to anyone who will put this into action, that would be great.

Thanks a lot, Tray, for this great post.

    I really appreciate your post.

I particularly found section 3 quite interesting.

To flesh out that section even more, I would suggest putting in some time on Twitter and looking for influence leaders in your niche.

You'd be surprised as to how much hype you can build for an unlaunched product if you reach out to the right people.

It's all about building credibility and benefiting from the established credibility and authority of influence leaders on social media platforms like Twitter.

Of course, this doesn't happen overnight.

You have to share third party content and network quite a bit, but this is definitely well-worth it.

Another alternative to consider is LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is very valuable, thanks to its groups system.

Again, it's all about building up credibility by sharing high quality information with the right people.

Thanks for bringing your additions to the post. You've given some really valauble tips here and although success doesn't happen overnight, it can happen very quickly when one decides to take the right actions consistently.

    Good bullet-point checklist

I think that also worth noting is how powerful and lucrative can high ticket products be.

Most people think that selling a $5000 product is 500 times harder than a $10 product.

In reality, it's probably about 10 times harder, often more enjoyable too.

One of my big product-creation breakthroughs happened after adding high ticket products into the mix... and NO you don't need to be some genius, legendary expert to do it!

    Cheers

Good stuff, Trey. Although I like to use the word "Buzz" instead of "Hype".

"Hype" just has such negative connotations last few years
