There are lotta opportunities out there in the web! in all what you good at! find something that you love to do online! once you know! you can start moving toward it with small steps!
think of where you want to get! Then what you need to get there! You're a hard worker with persistence you will get where you want to get!

If I were you I'd probably do some freelancing stuff to rise some money! and move to a higher ground!

P.S. Been in the internet industry since 2008, still living with my parents! got a vast knowledge! am still moving toward my goal slowly!

    Hi geeksimo,

You don't need money to make money.

    You need value to exchange.

    You don't need a website.

    You don't need a reputation.

You need an identified steady stream of buyers to go to for orders.

It's pretty basic--and almost nobody does it.

Identify who you solve problems for, and why they should hire you.

Find out where they are and get in front of them with your offer.

Services are probably the easiest way to make money for you right now.

I have to agree with Jason Kanigan on this one. My background is in marketing and economics, and from that standpoint I can tell you that money is simply an means of exchange and a medium of exchange. If one person has something of value, for instance his labor or services, and another person wants them, that person pays for the services with money. You offer services (value) and you make money in exchange, you don't need money to start with per se.

What products or services do you offer? What value can you bring to your customers?

If you want something bad enough you will find a way. You need to create a budget. Even if is 20 bucks a month but form the habbit.

Lets stick with what you started out trying which is affiliate marketing I assume.

    Supply and demand.

Today affiliate marketing is easier than ever when first you can move around or seperate yourself from your 10,000 other affiliates and second track your numbers. Traffic and conversions or antherwords your commissions divided by your traffic. E.P.C

Its all a numbers game today. Find out what is hot and ask for epc's on certain traffic sources and then go to work. Keep a spreadsheep and track all your numbers and you'll start to print your money!

So you did this once and gave up?

You got the job to begin with - that can be the hardest part.

I'd be back on that freelance site again tossing in some bids and see if you can get it done quicker this time. That money should have been in an escrow.

I'd be tossing up some fiverr things too. But you have to narrow down to a specialty.

It seems to me like you answered your own questions...

You can be a freelance coder ; upwork and freelancer

You can be a freelance writer : again upwork and freelancer

You can be a kinde publisher ; amazon and a free cover is all you'd need.

You can be a translator for people ; again upwork and freelancer.

Stop making excuses and just get out there and pick and do something.. No money is needed "instantly" to do the above things. Just do it. And reinvest the money you make into building a brand.

And hell if you don't want to do services there has to be some ebay things you can sell.

You might want to check out the " what to do when your desperate" thread.

Don't just sit there it's time to let negative thoughts fade into the distance. The only limit to your success is you..

    Good luck honey!

You want to work full time free? You're hired! I have things to put your php/html/css to work.

Ahh, but you want guaranteed serious money. hmm.

        1. Define serious. I have no idea what that means or how much that is.

With what you've listed, you can certainly make some money. Not sure anyone can guarantee you how much that will be exactly or if they can match what you are qualifying as serious.

If I were you I'd make a goal for next Friday. Decide how much money you should make by next Friday and then decide which one of those skills you want to use to make that money.

Conditions need to be defined before you can make something happen. Create some reasonable goals and prove your talents and you could most certainly see some kind of return within a week from now.

There are so many sites online where you can educate yourself, from coding to design to learning other languages to building your knowledge. You need to be spending your free time more effectively and if you don't have free time you need to sleep a little less or give up something until you are in a situation that is viable again. If you build the right skills and educate yourself there's no reason you can't make more money than you do now.

You need some motivation -- maybe you should find a coach to help you and put you on the right track.

You're not going to succeed if you don't believe in yourself and force yourself to continue pushing yourself.

kind and sweet aint gunna make you money.

You are best off to tell a newbie to stap up their boots, work hard, and do stuff that is not going to shit them to tears, like look for the next shiney object or flavour of the month. Or that bullhchit software you hear about, where you press a button and money comes flowing out of your bank account 1 hour later.

        That CHIT ain't real.

Building a long term business takes time, work, dedication, testing, measuring, and upscaling. If you are not prepared to do this, then its better off you go down the end of your street and get a 9 to 5'er.

Sorry to be straight up, but if someone was paying for this advice, you do not need to add cherries ontop, and give it a sweetener. Give em the hard core facts whether they like it or not.

Its plain and obvious that 95% of online businesses will fail from day one. When you look at some of the text in here you can see why. Some are scared of success and others are scared of failure. But most of all as humans we are apathetic, and give up when something is hard, or we do not understand it.

Some of the biggest and most successful entrepreneurs have come from backgrounds where failure was not a failure to them, but a series of lessons one WHAT NOT to do. And then more learning helped them to strive, work hard and become the success stories you have today.

Take TONY ROBBINS, did you know as an 18 year old, he was a god damn failure with 1 dollar to his name. He could not eat, sleep and kept failing in life, to the point that things were so bad, they just could not get any worse.

Fast forward today, and he is a multimillionare, his secret. HE NEVER GAVE UP, not once, when he was down and out, and did not have enough money to buy DINNER!!! He used that as a lesson, and carried forth, and make something of himself. He had so many misfortunes, and failures, before he saw the light, and as they say its always darkest before the dawn ....right?

Its always these stories that people can resonate with, and use for their own benefit. I mean no one just secretly wakes up, gets out of bed and becomes a millionaire. For most of these guys, they just had what I call the EDISON awakening.

Thomas Edison, [who invented the lightbulb] ....he always tells the story, of his life, that he actually DID NOT invent the LIGHTBULB itself, all he really did is work out 999 ways on how NOT TO INVENT the lightbulb. Referring to his failures first. And then, as god as his witness, on the 1000th time, BINGO.....he finally got it.

Just imagine if old Edison, gave up on the 844th try, or even the 991st time!? Have you pictured that for a minute. He would not have had the fame and notoriety he has today. That would belong to someone else.

My point is, do not be that someone else, be EDISON, shine like a lightbulb and never give up, no matter what anyone out there says to you.

How about getting a full time job and working online part time? Mom and Dad would appreciate that and when you learn how to use the Internet to make money someday you will be able to quit your job.

When that happens you will appreciate your Internet marketing skills and income, and never have to work another full time job again.

This is the same advice I would give my own kids if they needed to hear it. Sometimes people are not ready emotionally to work for themselves. Just saying.

You have a skill... and you can make money from that

BUT that's not the end all and be all

Let me share to you this little nugget:

I've always lived by one code I call "Get Paid to Practice"

That's how when I'm trying to get better with skills, I charge a certain "entry level fee" to give service to people --- so, I'm getting paid to practice

Now, as I get good... my price rises as well

And the money I get from "freelancing" becomes my "seed money" to buy "info & tools"

Eventually, start building your online assets as money pours in from your "services"

So, don't spend your initial money on nonsense and think like an entrepreneur

Now --- one place you can easily find clients is on Facebook Groups

Look for places where "business people" are that might need your services for their biz

This is sooooo cool >> php/html/css coder

WordPress is something related that is HOT in the "services area" as well

I know these because I practice what I've just shared

    Hope this helps

I am also trying this stuff for years.am from a European country and lived at home for years. I am a web designer and know coding.

My advice Is stop switching from wso to wso and concindrate on one stadigy. Get one site to make money even of its jist 10€ a day that's fine you can always scall but focusses on one offer and one traffic or MMP source.

If you are not a newbie just find some JV partners to start a project with your skills and maybe their money. You can start to sell Wordpress Themes/plugins or PLR articles on WSO or JVzoo.

Putting your name on the products will boost your profile, brand and the most important is your confidence. This can change your life and income than just crying alone in the dark. You must rise from your failures that wasted 3 years on IM.

    Well, do it now!

You can start as an affiliate marketer and when there is new launch coming up you can see that on jv launch you can shoot review video short one about the product and upload it on youtube and put your affiliate link under the video description and you when the launch begins people will search for reviews about this product and you will watch your video if its ranked and you get paid ;-)

Start selling your services. You can look for job opportunities on Upwork. If you're good at translating documents, try Rev. Rev pays weekly via PayPal.

When you've saved enough money, get a domain name and build your own website.

Try networking on LinkedIn, too. You can also look for jobs on AngelList.

If you have no money to advertise. Then you have to work harder posting in forums and generating traffic to your offer. The key here is work. Look into Facebook join groups related to your product of choice. Get involved. In the end it will work out. A lot of people do not pay for advertising and get traffic to a offer and sell. If this is what you want you will find a way to generate a interest. All the best

The truth is that you don't need money to start making money online.
There are a lot of blogs where you can learn all you need to get started and you can find everything you need for free you just need to invest time looking for it. The first step is to take the first step no matter what, start working as a freelancer on sites like Fiverr or upwork.
If you don't start you will never make it to the end, the first thing is to start, no matter what you want to do.

Yes, its really very much frustrating for a newbie if he cant make money.
Every newbie faces this kind of problem. But, if you're confident of making cash, you'll win one day. As you're good at coding of-course you can make/ tweak landing pages. Then you're done!

Yes, I am suggesting you to get connected with the successful/ other money maker warrior members who can give you some jobs to make you money. Like, ask some money maker warriors to make landing pages for their products. Thus both of you will be benefited. Its win win.

As always SG spells it out like it is. I believe there was another similar Thread recently with another Member in the same position.

I'm with SG on this one. I'm just old school like that

With the experience you have - you could set up some fiverr gigs to get you started in order to make money online.

It's all about what interests you - what you can offer others and what type of work you want to do.

Just remember a hobby costs you money and a business makes you money!!!!

Trusting you will get sorted out

    All the very best.

I would respond to programming job posts on Craigslist.org. Tell the employer you are willing to work hard and you are committed to a successful relationship. Get a dialogue going with many employers. Someone will have the right project for you. Since you are working remote it's important that you build trust and stay in contact with them. Good luck!!

But if u act smart and consider to reach a little goal to reinvest over and over you can (working hard and w some little little money) start from scratch.

You could try creating products on print-on-demand websites like teespring or zazzle. It's free to start. You would just have to worry about promoting your products, which you could do for free via social media websites.

PM me if you want more info.

Easiest place to start? Fiverr. Post a couple of scripting/coding gigs and then let people here now. If you get a few buys and decent reviews you can expect a steady stream of money from those gigs. I made 1.5k one month on Fiverr without trying. Just writing basic (but clean and original) content. I had to shut it down to concentrate on my own sites but the jobs kept coming. Learn to upsell and and you'll make more money. Try it. You can make less than you're making now by the sound of it. You have nothing to lose.

In my humble opinion, every business needs capital. Be it $100 or $1,000.

But yeah, if you don't have any starting capital, try Freelancer.com or Fiverr.com. I prefer Freelancer.com because thats where I usually look up for help

Since you don't have money to invest I would start with freelancing. That's how I built up my seed income to be able to invest into internet marketing tools and such. Go do jobs for people and build up your income

I wish I had your skills.

      Here's what I would do:

Search JVZoo for software that is selling well/has sold well.

Figure out what languages they've used. Learn them using free resources online.

Build software. Find a JV partner who has sold software in the past. Show them what you've made. If they have half a brain they'll jump all over working with you because good software developers are HARD to find who can build IM software.

      Profit.

Rinse and repeat like a mad man.

Here's what I did with minimal start-up money and was able to generate affiliate commission and make some sales and now have built up a store, membership site and still promote my favorite affiliate offers.

Choose a ever green niche - I chose internet marketing/MMO

Get a autoresponder - Aweber and Getresponse are the 2 go-to ones and have great reputations

Create a Lead magnet and squeeze page - Make sure your lead magnet is high quality, treat it as your first date, you want to make a good impression so that your subscriber likes you, and perhaps want more content from you based on how good the quality of the freebie was.

Autoresponder Series - Write a few personalized info packed emails that coach your customers for free, help them solve problems, gives them freebies and offers them affiliate products that will help them solve their problems.

Product Creation - Research what problems people in your niche are facing, and create a info product ebook or video course that solves their problems, and sell this in your autoresponder, launch it on JVZoo, WarriorPlus, Clickbank and Tradebit.

How to make money with no money?

    Affiliate Marketing is king!

Sign up at JVZoo and find a good high converting offer in your niche.
Find some related Free PLR and Resell rights products.
Create a page that reviews the affiliate offer and offer the PLR/resell rights as a value added bonus
Then use free traffic methods like SEO, Social Marketing or whatever methods works best for you to drive traffic to your "review bonus"

You can do this from free web 2.0 sites but it's highly recommended to have a domain of your own on WordPress with a autoresponder. This increases your earning potential and will let you build a general subscriber list and buyers list, which is GOLD.

    Hope that helps a bit

    Good-luck mate!

it is normal to make mistakes, and demoralized, the important thing is not to give up and get up, you have to first select the right people to trust, your bad experience you will definitely help in the future, you will not fall more into the same error.
Already on this forum you can learn so much by very expert persons and in my humble opinion, the thing most imporant is a good coach, good luck.

    Dear Geeksimo,

You know that you can do a hell of alot more than most people that visit here so don't assume just

because you are not up and running with some fancy website or online business that you are not

    worthy.

There are three options you can consider and they would be :

    1. Work online

    2. Work offline-get out there with your expertise and see if you can get hired.

    3. Or do both- Infact if you do both you can utilize your experience in both offline and online. What I

mean by that is to blog about what you do when you get work online or offline.

Any movement is better than nothing.

There are alot of free resources to get you going-but you will have to pay for internet.

Some people say free stuff is not the best, but hey I think it will get the ball rolling.

So either you are feeling a lack of confidence or you were looking for some ideas.

You have it in you to do it....just make a start...hope this helps- Jennifer...it's not gonna happen on it's

    own.

Now get moving and I mean that in the kindest way.

If you really have those skill, what I recommend is that you should find yourself a stable job with a company first in order to have some incomes. That would be needed for your life as well as mingling around with people at work will also lift up your morale and creativity. That is what I realized after quitting my job for a year last time to learn how to make money online. I am seeing past myself in your post.
If You have already in MMO for so long and seems like it doesn't work out so far, why not go slowly and focus on 1 or few strategies and keep on trying again but as a part time job? Put in a lot of effort and you will be rewarded. There are many experts all over the internet and also in this forum that you can learn from.

I suggest looking through your own skills and expertise first and see which ones can be built upon to present real value to potential clients of costumers.

If you want guaranteed serious money which you mentioned in your post then you will have to possess a unique skill, create a product or service with your skills, or become the top 5% in your industry in terms of knowledge and expertise.

Go look for potential clients(upwork, freelancer etc.) to support yourself and continue building your skills, product or service. If you have a lot of free time you should ideally be doing both.

    Good luck.

Ok. this is how I started, just like you and got from 40 and up to 90 dollars a day!

    1) Choose a niche, (I chose motorcycle crashes and that worked even better than another cooking recipes site I made) and look for potentially viral videos about your chosen niche

    2) Second: Make a video site (about your niche) on the free wordpress platform or blogger, no need to get fancy there.

    3) Get an adsense account, (That's how you get paid)

    4) Put social sharing buttons on the site and your adsense codes ("likes" are not important, only "shares")

    5) Make a secondary FB account

    6) Make a facebook FanPage about your video site (I'ts free) from your primary FB account

    7) Add niche related groups to your secondary FB account, not hundred of groups, try to find BIG groups

    8) Embed youtube videos about your chosen niche on your free site and make a post about it
(For title and description COPY AND PASTE the video's info)

    9) THE TRICK is on the featured image!: on youtube while watching your selected video look at the source code and look for the "thumbnail" it is a "jpg" file every video has it

    10) edit the thumbnail with an image editor such as Photoshop or Snagit and insert an FB play button on the image

    11) save it in PNG format so it won't lose quality

    for example:

(NOTE: The more it looks like the original play button from FB the better)

    12) Use your image as the featured image of your post

    13) Copy your post URL and poste it on your FB FanPage and logout

    14) Login in your secondary FB account and visit your FanPage and share the post from there to the new groups you added in that second account

(SIDE NOTE 1: when you share your post to groups DON'T just share a link, go back to the video on youtube, look for the comments on the video, copy a good comment and paste it with what you share so people can interact with your share)

(SIDE NOTE 2: Question comments are better!)

Once your site is created and configured the entire posting and sharing process can take less than 1 hour.
Repeat the process only 2 times a day, that's enough to get a TON of traffic without horting your account, also, like as many comments from others on your shares to keep your account looking natural.

(I had up to 900 unique visitors in real time and about 15.000 unique visitors a day in that site)

Don't worry too much to be seen as a spammer because as long as you give your groups the content they want, even most of the groups admins WILL like and share your posts.

After you make some money with that you can pass on to paid hosting and your own domains to be in more control and even build a list if you want.

Here is a POST I wrote about the a few hosting "problems" I had when I started dealing with such ammount of traffic.

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...n-hosting.html

This is a proven method that worked for me and a few friends who I shared this with.

    Hope that helps a bit
ps: I'm gonna take what I just wrote and start a thread, while some folks might not like the method otners might like it.

Let me tell it to you straight. You ARE a noob and you NEED to HELP YOURSELF.

As you've seen from your frivolous spending habits on warrior shitty offers and other nonsense, you should see that nobody is going to help you except YOU.

You NEED to GET A JOB. I'm not going to give you a job, but that's what you need to do. Like ricky effing tick.

IM is not your bag and there's nothing wrong with it. It's mostly smoke and mirrors anyway, despite what these keyboard warriors claim. But that which is asserted without evidence will be dismissed without evidence.

Also, if you have all these skills, then you better play on them to GET A JOB. It's not fair to your parents that they have to subsidize your life so that you can go from shiny object to shiny object. Get real.

    TLDR

Give up the pipe dreams, spend less than you make, and GET A JOB.

Here's some comedic relief because I'm giving you tough love:

That is the OP from earlier today. You are responding to the OP from a post made a month ago. Maybe he is starting to see some success, if even marginal. Maybe he can build upon that success. Who lives with who's parents really ain't yer damn business. That's the parent's business, and it is their business to decide when one of their children can live at home or not, not yours.

I always love, too, when people tell everyone to 'get a job.' This is usually spoken by people in the US with ZERO persepective outside of their own little world. Ya know, the US - the biggest and strongest economy in the world (and it has been that for as long as anyone reading this has been alive). Guess what? The US is about the easiest damn place in the world to get a job. Maybe the OP lives here, but it doesn't sound that way, so think a bit before you start telling people they ain't no good and that they need to abandon all hope and 'get a job', cause there are people here from parts of the world that don't live in the US, where getting a decent job can be a much more difficult thing.

I get it. There is a lot of BS hype and peddlers of false dreams in the IM space, very few will actually have success, and that is a big part of what you are speaking to that I don't necessarily disagree with. But there are also millionaires in the IM space and people making everything inbetween, and I'll bet you all of the money you have that some of those millionaires started out in Mommy's and Daddy's basement with no job and very little money ...

There are many ways you can start making money with, without any investment. Advertise your service on Fiverr, freelance, twitter, Instagram, Facebook. For example I made my first $$ online on twitter, so based on my experience I can tell you that twitter does work for business. Also remember that usually free methods will take sometime to work, as you need to get followers or likes or gain reputation to start making some good $$.
