YouTube can be very powerful for affiliate marketing one of my favorites too. Great because once its setup and going it can almost be autopilot. Blogging and forums can also be a great source.

Reddit and Google+ are the best website to get instant traffic to your blog.

I personally love connecting one on one with my traffic. Its the best way for highly targeted traffic to your website.

Awesome guys For me I think social media because it is a big community and we can get huge sales and traffic from them if we target perfect people.

A good method to get traffic and increase your SEO is through blogging. Creating unique and quality content adds links to your site. To do that is important to have a keyword strategy, targeting the right words, and also to create a SEO friendly blog structure.

For now, mine is Facebook and twitter due to high level of likes and followers from there.

First of all start with OSO (on site optimization) then social networking is best for initially launch the rocket to the sky. Then Forums and PBN is really supported to keep post in air.

My favorite would be Facebook group because there is different group which can find specific targetted niche.

Find And Pull Method

This is perhaps one of the easiest ways to bring traffic to your blog. All you have to do is find popular blogs in your niche and bring the already existing traffic back to your blog.

Sounds easy right? Well if you know how, it kind of is.

For this method to work, you need to find out about relevant posts on high traffic blogs in your niche as soon as they are published.

You can solve this problem using Google Alerts, which is a free Google service that sends you emails on new content across the web that may be of interest to you.

Set up Google Alerts so that it sends you an email as soon as a popular blogger writes an article very closely related to a post you have previously published ,

For the second step go to the post as soon as it is published, actually read it, and write out a relevant and helpful comment after the post but instead of linking your name to your blog’s homepage, link to your post on related content.

This way when they click through, they are immediately on a highly relevant page that they are interested in. And because they read your comment, which was useful and unique, they already think of you as an authority.

Personaly I like social media the most. Facebook groups, twitter, pinterest is great if you know how to use it also reddit if you use it correctly these are the best for me. I saw that alot of people uses forums posting but never really tried using forums for marketing purposes something inside me is telling me that it won't work for me. I might be very wrong though

For youtube videos my favourite one is reddid and for other traffic I use youtube and facebook. So basicly when you use youtube for traffic you can use reddid for getting traffic to your whole youtube channel...

Facebook groups, there are a lot of $$$ here. Only via this Facebook groups source I make $2500+ extra per month easily.

If you're in the list building world, clickbanking and doing ad swaps can be quite lucrative... although to be honest it all depends on what is your target audience.

I've also heard people use guest blogging and forum posting to get some quite decent results.

My favorite method of getting free traffic is blogging. From my experience it converts the highest into actual sales. Converts low to leads, but as far as sales it's phenomenal!

I also like Youtube. Again it's content marketing so it converts well too. I don't focus on SEO with my Youtube videos though. I just find awesome low hanging fruit keywords with Youtube.

I personally like Blogging, Content Marketing, SEO, Youtube Videos, Forum Marketing, Facebook, and LinkedIn - to drive traffic to my websites!

But if I were to pick my favorite way to get traffic for free, I would say Blogging + SEO!

I think that definitely Youtube (2nd largest searched site on the planet) as well as Forum marketing (the stuff that half of the people posting here do) are probably the best forms of FREE traffic!

Facebook can work as well if you want to invest the time…simply join some groups for your niche, friend request some of the people in the group and start building a relationship with them. You can know for sure that they're interested in your niche as they were in the niche group!

There are many sources to get huge free traffic from internet. Facebook groups can be useful for that. But if you want to get instant traffic reddit, G+ and twitter can be very effective.

How do you utilize Reddit for traffic? I have a blog that is a few years old and I have a lot of posts, but it does not get traffic. I tried Facebook and had no luck with free traffic generation, and I have the most luck with Twitter so far, very active with twitter. Can you recommend a source to learn how to get Reddit traffic, this is new to me.

To get organic or free traffic I personally use following method:

- Using social media platforms like Facebook, twitter, google+ etc
- High PR site like stumbleupon, reddit, delicius etc. because they all give huge amount of traffic if we can use them effectively

Why: To start with could be very helpful, you need some basic knowledge and start working right away to create backlinks, optimize your content but if you do it properly you can start making decent traffic towards your website.

Then you can expand your business adding social networks and some other good techniques, but if you go directly to social networks it can be difficult to start.

You can have targeted traffic from social networks, but the most targeted traffic comes from SEO, because those users are searching for something probably a solution, and if they find you through a search engine, they want your content very badly.

Well, at least from my experience, maybe someone else have a different story.

I think my favorite would be all the free social media outlets. I know everyone has already said them.

I also agree that Pinterest is a good trafic source - I have pics I put up 2 or 3 years ago that still send me new visitors today.
Social media is preferred - YouTube is the gift that just keeps giving, Instagram can be worked in the same way as Twitter but needs constant attention - same as Facebook, but they're all good.

Facebook ads are very cost effective if and when you're ready to spend some money...

We use youtube a lot too, along with reddit and various other forums, social media, email marketing and so on. They work great especially when pairing them with paid sources like ultimatewebtraffic or visitorboost. Guest blogging is old school but still works.

Social media is really a big help for me to get free traffic. You just need a very good quality content so you won't leave your audience hanging. Sometimes it even goes viral and in return a good and heavy traffic.

I agree with blogging, however the issue then becomes finding and generating traffic to your blog. This is when Social Media really comes in to play. The trick is to narrow down your best and most used social media sites and use those to your benefit. I know blogging can be easy but sometimes tricky, at least if you want to add value and provide wicked content. But I did it.

I like leveraging authority sites and the SERP's. I'm using a strategy right now that gets me indext within 24 to 48 hours on google above the fold for just about any keyword phrase I want. No its ot using youtube either!

Well I do multiple ways, I first have created a blog and after a post I link it to my twitter, and facebook account. I also create one video each week and make them a post in my blog, twitter and facebook fan page. I use all of these and try to be consistent each week.

Social media and Reddit are powerful long term sources of FREE traffic.You may try forum commenting as well.

I believe the thing about traffic(free or paid) is learning all you can about using your source of choice. All of these sources work if applied correctly. When you decide on which traffic source to use ,stick with it and educate yourself on how to properly use it. If your going to start using twitter for traffic,dont think that after 3-5 days of using it and your not seeing hundreds of followers, that it doesnt work, everything takes time.And that goes for most free traffic sources.

Posting on Facebook groups that relate to your niche marketing like weight lose or dating for men.

social media. it's a great way to send traffic to test pages/offers.

if you really enjoy your niche, it's easy to forget that you're actually working!

YouTube and Email Marketing are by far my 2 favorite traffic methods!

1. Start blogging. Join several sites where you comment on the blog posts. Add your URL with posting. Keep in mind you are commenting on your posts so remain focused on the topic since you do not want your posting to be deleted or considered as spam. You want to appear knowledgeable and someone others can trust.

2. Use forum signatures for promotion of your site with a live link. Use topics with great information and link them back to your sties. The more information you provide the readers the more they will rely on you for your new information. They will return repeatedly to read what you are posting.

If by free traffic you mean, I don't pay somebody else or pay for ads and it's only my own time and work that I am investing then it would be blogging and then sharing it on social media.

Facebook,Google+ and Youtube are my favorites.
