I am a terrible article writer. I plan to outsource the typical 10$ per article ghost writer. I plan to buy 10, I have good keywords that I found which i plan to use for each article. here is my plan

submit to ezine
then submit to 12 other directories linking to ezine
my ezine articles resource box is a domain with a redirect script to the product.
build 20-30 backlinks each article

How does this sound? I am just really wondering if 10$ article will convert. do you guys have any experience with outsourcing your article marketing?

I've seen $10 articles that don't convert and $5 articles that do. That really depends on the screening process you have to keep the good writers and fire the bad ones.

That said, are you sure redirecting them directly is the best tactic, or could you do more by pre-selling the customer on your own landing page.

The pre-sell landing page tactic does a few things that a direct to product link does not:
    1. Allows you to build an opt-in form to start building your list.
    2. You can probably design a landing page that will improve conversions of the affiliate product
    3. You gain the link juice from the search engines to your own domain.

As with all things - test.

    Hi there,

If you are paying $10 for an article it doesn't mean that it will convert, no matter what!

Your strategy sounds good. However, you have to see to it that your article has the right main and semantic keywords. Also, the article has to be written in a proper way starting with an introduction, then the main body of the article (preferably broken down into bullet list)and then the conclusion.

Further, you have to pay much attention to your resource box. It has to be clickable enough to fetch you the desired no.of backlinks.

    Hope this helps.

My articles convert. I offer discounted prices to warrior forum members if you're interested.

If you're going to be outsourcing article writing, it's a good idea to try a number of different writers and find one that you like.

It's true that it is possible to get great articles for $5 and total crap at $25 but generally speaking you get what you pay for and the odds of getting a good article increase when you're willing to pay more than the lowest possible rate you can find.

Well, $10 will generally get you better quality than $5 (for example), but there are other factors that will determine whether they will "convert".

Remember, the priority of the article is to get them to click-thru the link in your resource box. Also, a good article writer will know how to gently PRESELL the visitors, so they are a little "warmed up" to buying the product.

However, the final conversion (and whether you actually get sales) will depend on the product's site, and over this factor the article writer has no control.

So your plan can work, but you may need to have patience, because...

    (1) First of all you need traffic TO your article. This assumes you've picked good keywords, and that your article is going to get into first 10 listings of Google. (Yes, the article writer can play a part in this, BUT even if everything is done right, there are no guarantees.)

    (2) The article needs to gently presell, and also get as many people to click thru as possible. You may only get 10% or 20% of readers actually click the article resource box link.

    (3) The article writer has no control over how good the product's sales page is.

I think if you're willing to be PATIENT, your strategy could definitely work. But there are still many factors outside of the control of the article writer.

Even $1 article will convert well if they know how to drives people by content.
Experiment with many writers and filter them so you have great team of writers.
