Selling website on Flippa - Do you use a contract?

Is there a standard contract that you use when you sell a large website on flippa to protect yourself?

Do you always use a lawyer and have them draw up one each time depending on the situation?

Is there a standard one somewhere online you like to use?

I've sold several sites on Flippa, and I didn't use a contract.

They were all sub $10,000 range so it probably wasn't necessary.

You don't need to use contracts on Flippa in my opinion.

If you're worried about getting snubbed you can look into using Escrow.com or a site like it.

If the sales are for less than 25K and you use an escrow system, you don't really need a contract

Now, if there is a lot of FAIR USE content involved or if there's any source of POTENTIAL legal liability, the buyer or seller needs to do a bit of CYA and here's where a contract can come in handy.

No need to use contract if the price is lower than $4000, if it's higher you can use flippa escrow or escrow separaly

As you have large website to sell, hence you should take every steps to protect yourself. And always use Escrow for transaction.
Moreover if your website is making $1K/month or above, you should use personalized brokerage service to get higher value compared to flippa. To me flippa is good for selling mid range websites.
