ONLINE training has exploded. MOOC.

ONE corporate customer, will increase your bottom line.

Might "partner" up with corporate trainer, the soft skills market is booming.

How to get customers?

Make a video, self promote and find someone with great skills, a "presence" and build out from a Udemy course.

Your skill set is way to high to be making such a small amount of money.

You are much more valuable than that.

PS. Make a few short videos about a product you use, like or love and be the spokesperson and contact their corporate headquarters to see if they want to use it or you.

You can also do an online training course on video marketing or video production.

Look at what Mike Koenigs did in the past...search his stuff.

Look at his model. Study his funnel...learn...deploy.

Most things come down to positioning.

Position yourself as the expert and then deliver a simple promise to a hungry market.

I've seen several success stories unfold in front of me as there is applied focus to a specific goal.

Work out your goal....focus....work at it....succeed.

There is still plenty of growth in understanding the skills you have experienced.

Well Iam not you and do not have the experience or expertise in this area like you ( some I hope Im not being intrusive lol).
But if I was you I would take those skills ,and as Gordon kind of inferreds, promote your own self/product/brand.

I do think you limit yourself as someone who is doing a service for others.

You have tremendous energy ( so it seems) so transfer those skills along with your video skills towards something that will promote your own personal brand.

You are ahead of tons of successful entrepreneurs with skills you have now.

Concentrate on building that. If I had the skills and time I would concentrate on virility maybe with Facebook and social media. I mean if you can whip out high quality,clever videos over and over again you can start potentially excelling at this.
Also a Youtube channel is another avenue

Experiment with stuff. It sounds like you want to be in the Video Market with offering services in that area ( which is great) but what if you utilize those skills to also pursue a personal Niche outside of this that you love. And just go to town with tons of quality videos

Try adding your services to fiverr.com. People who do not like making videos will pay you to do it. You put the price.
Another suggesstion is start an email list, about how to do videos and more. Information products are growing more and more every year.

You sound like a video making ROCKSTAR! So congrats on that

If you really want to make more of the monies, like mentioned above, you need to start promoting yourself. The best thing I think you should do is to have some of the people you made movies for do a quick testimonial for you (nothing beats social proof).

Then put together (or have someone put together) a website. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but should showcase your skills with the videos. So definitely include a couple of example clips or something like that.

Now that you have a website showcasing your skills and packed with social proof, spend a few bucks and drive some traffic to it through Facebook or ppc so people looking for what you offer will be able to check out your site!

Or, how about using your video creation skills in conjunction with YouTube to sell other people's stuff. E.g. affiliate style marketing (clickbank, peerfly). Or via Amazon on their Fulfillment by Amazon service.

How about if you put a course together on how you make the videos. also how you are using the videos in affiliate marketing. I also make my own videos and I am helping a few people with advise. works very well Give it a try I could even be your first customer.

The thread is already filled with good advice. Another thing to consider is the price you charge. You created over 1k videos for business-type clients and that equals to 2k/month? Maybe you don't need to find many new customers, but rather charge the customers you get higher.

Well, what I've been doing this week: I started writing a course about Video Production which includes everything I've learned so far:
* tips and tricks for beginners with low budget (how to improvise and make their video look professional even with cheap equipment, I know that because I've started with almost nothing)
+ what I've learned so far about content writing (how to make a review content + a corporate content + a selling video content)
+ how to earn your first $$$ with these video skills
+ how to build a home teleprompter under $35
+ green screen setup basic stuff
+ some video capturing while I am editing some of my videos: turning a green screen video into something really cool with 3D background etc
+ audio, lighting, camera settings adjustments even with low light conditions

This course will be very specific, fully original. I had no clue that I've gathered so many knowledge in this niche, I was just keep writing and writing.

I know if I introduce an affiliate marketing subcategory in my course, would be fantastic for selling. BUT, I want it to be real, not scam-like: "how to earn thousands of $ with videos using affiliate marketing" Any thoughts?

You didn't say what exactly are you doing now for the $2.000 per month but I will try my best to give you some good ideas.

First, Fiverr can be a good thing to add into your business, videos are on demand and most of them are pretty easy to, make a GiG or more around your topic for example doing a review for something, presentation, etc. On Fiverr you need quantity because you are not going to do a lot of money per sale unless you add more extra GiGs to your actual GiG but I will recommend to wait for a while until you feel more familiar with how it works, like how much time you need for a client and how much money you're making doing it. Then you can start thinking about how to get better adding extra featured to make more money per sale. You can also start building an email list from clients here.

Another option is having a blog, you can start teaching your awesome techniques while you promote yourself as a brand, provide value to your audience and help them as much as you can. Give them great content about softwares, techniques, hardware, light, voice, etc. With a blog you can promote different things too, maybe you can join some affiliate programs related to your content and add banners to your blog. You can even create your own products like advanced tutorials, webinars, ebooks and sell them to your audience.

Building an email list from your blog is something you should be doing, giving something for free with tons of value to start building your email list so you can create a relationship with your leads and turn them into regular clients it's the main goal here.

The last option you have is going for freelance, there're sites like Freelancer, Upwork, Envato where you can sell your service and works. On Freelancer and Upwork you can promote your self and send proposal to different job posts and if you can make the difference from the rest the client will hire. You need to understand how bids works, you have free accounts with limited bids, depending on the job you will spend more or less bids to send a proposal, as a new user go for easy jobs with the initial stage tag so you invest the lowest bids possible. When you have experience, feedback and reputation in your profile, you can start looking for some advanced jobs and better paid.

If you're more serious about it, you can have a premium account where you have lots of more bids per months, the proposal is the most important thing, never send generic proposal, be unique and write from scracth each of them, tell the client why they should be hire you and how you will solve the problem, be awesome.

On Envato you have different sources, first you can write articles or tutorials and get paid while you can promote your website just adding a link to your profile there, people will like your knowledge and they will be more likely to check out your blog or website while getting paid, awesome right?

Then you have different niches inside like ThemeForest where people sell templates, custom themes or psd sites, you should be looking for VideoHive and AudioJungle since you can sell content there, the entry level could be quite high but learn the basics, read the rules and start making money there. Also if you have a blog you can make traffic there just standing out as a seller, and if you do everything I told you, you will have different source of income working for the same objective, becoming something huge just from small different things.You can get paid with Payoneer to have physical money, they work 50% - 50% but when you have X amount of sales as a seller you account will be doing some money, the cap is 75% you, quite well.

Social networks are super important as well, if you add everything you can create your own empire. YouTube can be great for you since it's your confort zone, you can make money just from Youtube with views and monetizing but also at the same time you can drive traffic to your blog, website or freelancer accounts, link them all together so you can build a spiderweb with all your accounts, social media, content and products.
