What to spend your money on?

Hi there,

If you have $1000 dollars to spend on your new website, what would you spend it on? Traffic? Design? Articles? What legitimate companies would you use? Could you do all this for less?

If I was to pursue my project further, then I would like to invest in the right company. Right now, I need more traffic.

Look forward to hearing your replies.

Thanks.

I would spend it on developing my own product and marketing it. $1000 is more than enough for getting into adsense, amazon or any other options according to me.

If you have something to sell already, you can spend it on solo ads to build your email list and start promoting not only your products but a bunch of stuff.

There is no point to invest it into articles or design, you can have the best articles and the best website but with no traffic there is no money.

Buy solo ads and start building your email list right now, you can find tons of groups where people share their experience with different solo ads sellers so you can have a better idea.

I would agree with what have been said. I think the major challenge here is how to create business awareness not to set up the business itself. Should you have the business in place then maybe you need to try quick mvp to validate what you have so far?

Solo ads is the best strategy to start no doubt!

then you can do everything else but I think it is best to try to focus on one strategy at a time.

we'll without traffic you won't do anything so I would learn how to invest 10 dollars and get back 15 or 20.

Build a website based on a call to action whether its a sale or a lead and optimize until you are getting the conversions you want. Always start small. You can make money online for under 20 bucks. There is no nead to spend your $1,000 all at once. Hosting, a website and a autoresponder is all you need today. O and a advertising budget say for banner ads or ppc!

I definitely wouldn't invest into a website company as they are way too expensive….for a website, simply buy a domain name from bluehost.com, upload wordpress for free, then pick up click funnels or optimize press. You'll be able to easily create a custom webpage, squeeze pages and any other type of page pretty easily!

Depending upon what you plan to do with your new website, you'll have about $800-900 left to drive traffic or whatever…which is a LOT of traffic if you do it correctly!

I hope that helps and good luck

I would spend about $100 on getting yourself a product created in your niche. You can do this by getting a collection of high quality articles in your market and put them together in a report.

I would then spend $500 or so and get a good sales letter created.

Now you have your own product...and you are light years ahead of your peers and where you were before doing this.

I would use the rest on FB ads to attract affiliates(as opposed to customers) in your mkt as they can do the heavy lifting of traffic generation for you and building a buyers list for you.

Then market high quality affiliate products to said buyers.

    Enjoy the results

I'm been on this theme for the last few days, but it's pertinent to your question.

I'd invest in a coaching program that will show you how to drive traffic and, usually, a variety of other methods if website visitors are your priority.

By investing in some mentoring with some ongoing support, you won't lose too much of the money you have left over. Trial and error? For sure. But a lot less error.

My 2 cents: from the vagueness of your question, my guess is you don't have a business yet, and are trying to get some guidance on getting started, which is fine. But you need to do some studying and thinking, get your business model worked out, set some goals based on what you learn and what calls out to you, and see if you can't get going for much cheaper.

Buying solo ads or other traffic? Don't listen to advice like that, from someone who doesn't even know if you have a niche in mind, let alone a sales funnel good enough to spend money sending people to.

Just read existing threads for a while; get a solid, specific plan in mind, and then you can ask better questions that won't just be an invitation for people to throw out their favorite piece of advice, or worse; offer to help you with dollar signs in their eyes.

When you do ask specific questions once you have a solid idea of what you're going to do, never never never announce your budget in here. No matter what the dollar amount, people will find a way for you to spend it all before making a cent back. If you have a good, ambitious plan where it makes sense to do that, fine, but if you just solicit advice on "how should I best spend my $X budget", you're simply going to get advice on how to empty your bank account, rather than create a business with a positive cash flow. Not only that, you'll attract the helpful sharks that will want a slice of it to take you under their fin.

In money negotiations, one of the basic principles is "the person who mentions a dollar figure first, loses". Don't be that person to all comers before you're even in a negotiating position.
