Website with malware

Hi,
I have couple of websites with malware. To get the malware removal, I was told to purchase a service, that will cost me about $40.00/month. Is there a better option?
I was thinking about rebuilding the site all over again. Is it a viable option? If not, what is the reason.
I appreciate any feedback you can provide.

    A complete clean of the malware is necessary. you must have to buy the package and first remove the malware. Because if you create the site again there is chance of again malware infection.

    I would be interested in knowing who your hosting service is? Not a conspiracy theorist but in the case of one company it seems a lot of people developed malware issues right after a certain hosting service began pushing a certain malware clean up service.

    $40 per month to remove malware is ransomware so you're hosing yourself for eternity. If the host is the one suggesting the $40 per month, get a new host, a real host.

    Fix the original problem, don't add to it.
