It looks like it displays the print view if the last word in the thread title is "print". I tested it in the test forum.

Yep, I saw the same thing earlier...

Take a look at the keywords/thread title/post/etc... there might have been a special character in the post that caused the glitch...

If you could figure out what caused it I'm sure the developers would be very grateful for the info...

Not sure if you have vbSEO installed but I just found this info about the print glitch within vbSEO:

"if you have any threads that might end with the word "print" you have to use the dropdown for advanced under rewrite rules and change the print thread rewrite rule to something that will never appear in an actual thread title."
