Youtube music licenses

I'm learning how to add music to my video, however since I want to monetize my video, I need to be careful about what music I select and make sure that I can use it commercially and royalty-free. However, since I want to make the best quality videos, I wouldnt mind paying for a license to own some nice music for commercial use. That said, I noticed that on some sites like musicbed.com and a few others, it costs $98 to just buy a commercial license to ONE simple song. The hell? Does anyone have any experience with finding decent but moderately priced music for their commercial use in monetized youtube videos that isn't outrageously priced?

  • Alex,

Do you know about the YouTube Audio Library?

Thousands of free songs that YouTube allows you to put into your videos without paying a fee.

  • Check out "NoCopyrightSounds" on youtube, they have hundred of free songs you can use in your videos and monetize.

    • There are music background packages you can purchase upfront to use how ever you want.

Search for "plr music" to get started.
  • Gooroo already mentioned a good channel, however, it is focused on electronic music. Another good source (paid) is Royalty Free Music - Sound Effects - Stock Audio | AudioJungle.
  • Don't worry too much about it, you know YouTube have private songs for the content creators?

Go to your channel and then video manager, in the menu on the left you have "create", just fo there.

You have free music, ad supported music and sounds. You can add any song to your favorites, download right away or play it.

Then you have genre, mood, instrument, duration and atribution, there're 2 attributions (required and not required) you can choose whatever you want, the required one you need to thanks the author in your video description and the other you don't need to do anything.

You can monetize your videos with all of these songs so don't worry, besides these sonds are super high quality and free!, you can visit the author website if you want to buy some other music because they're all freelancers or studios looking for clients offering free awesome stuff to video creators.
