Offer something of value for an email address.

If your niche is "skin care" you could offer "10 things in your home to help reduce wrinkles" as a short guide/ebook.

Stick up a landing page on a site, drive traffic to it, and gather your list.

Then continue to send them helpful things.

aww fast money we are after... yep I already see where this is going!

First you need your own custom 100% unique landing page tied to an affiliate offer or your own product.

Once you have that you need to send a little traffic and make sure you are converting.

Once you are getting at least a 30% opt in rate with cold traffic then its time to scale things a little.

Maybe some ppc or solo ads. Even banner ads are working very well for me and its all automoted. Set it up and watch the leads and sale come in.

Biggest thing is to set a goal and give yourself at least 6 months to year!

You get yourself an email list with 3 to 5 thousand people on it and you talk and build trust with your list you can easily earn $1,500, 2,500 to 10 grand per month. Those are the facts

It's important to have a lander that converts well but if you want to build a list FAST then you need to have either a well converting FE offer, or a well converting affiliate offer for after your prospect has opted in.

The chances of you getting this right off the bat are rather low, but by testing and tweaking your funnel (experimenting with headlines, images, sales letter structure, video) you can get yourself in a position where it performs at an ROI of 80% or above. This way you can build a list of buyers at very low-cost, whilst monetising the list with your backend.

Even still, you have to understand that without serious cash or experience, you can't build a large, high quality mailing list within the space of a few days.

The best way to build an email list from nothing is offering great value for free, the best way to do it is creating a squeeze page (the classic page where you sign up only with your email to download an ebook, training, video or something for free).

You don't need a blog, you can just work with your list but I highly recommend you to have your personal blog abour your topic, you can offer the free gift there and have your own squeeze page too. You can find much more traffic, more leads and more presence.

Now, when you have your list don't just promote all the time, be creative, provide value to your list, help them and then you can sell something and keep doing everything again, keep them happy.

Adding a story can make a difference, some people don't recommend it but I do, if people feel the same as you or had a similar experience you can start building a relationship, it will be more easy to make them regular clients. Be honest, don't pretend and try to add your personality to your words.

Social networks are important, you can build an email list from there too, but you need to be social and start making presence so you can drive traffic to your blog, engage with them but the most important advice I can give you is about providing value over everything, be unique.

I disagree with the free report method...and here's why:

The hardest thing in this biz is to get enough traffic to make that method work. The fact of the matter is, people don't value things that are free and you are going to have a hard time getting those freebie seekers to open up their wallet.

A much better way..and faster way to go is to take that free report(assuming it is quality) and create a sales page and sell it for $10-$20.

Then get affiliates to promote the product for you and give them 75-100% commission.

You can attract affiliates with Facebook ads.

This works better for several reasons:

1. You are building a buyers list, not a freebie seekers list. Huge difference as they have proven they will open up their wallet.

2. Unless you have deep pockets, a small army of affiliates can drive more traffic than you can.

3. A small army of affiliates can drive said traffic MUCH faster.

4. The customers will be more likely to open up your emails as they have already paid for your product...again, as people tend to value something they paid for versus a freebie.

You can put an exit pop up on your sales letter to get addresses from people who leave...and also place a re-targeting pixel so that you can re-target them on FB for those who didn't purchase...but I would focus on getting the above up first...then worry about that.

Hi redeem54,
offer a quality free product on a landing page which will build you a free list.

Back it up with related paid products in a sales funnel which will build you a list of buyers.

Make sure the journey you have your prospects take is all related. You want to build your authority as you go, so provide great value all the way.

Send some paid traffic to test and get some kind of sales stats, then once you have something converting, offer the funnel to other list owners on a percentage of sales affiliate system.

That way you will be sending targeted traffic to your landing page.

In short Take Massive action ,Run Solo Ads ,Funnel Clicks and be consistent and within a month you can build a massive list ,But if you do not have a great lead magnet or high converting SQ page then things can do weird ,There are more to list building than sending traffic

Fastest way to build a list depends on the niche.

In the case of "Make Money Online", it's solo ads, facebook ads, PPC, YouTube, forums (like this one) etc.

Make a offer. Get an email address. Send to paid
offer.

I don't give away free reports/videos. Don't need
to. People will pay for value if you ask for it.
They won't if you don't.

Keep it simple.

In my opionion, the best leads are the ones who
contact *you* for more information.

I don't have people opt-in to anything. If they
want to learn more about how I do business they
have to make an effort to send me an email and
request more information. This weeds out almost
all tire kickers.

First of all, I recommend reading a book on email list. That way you have an idea on what you need, and how to do it. Next research your niche to make sure that you can make profits. Lastly, start building your list. Goodluck!
