Hello all!

Glad to be a part of such an amazing community! My name is Jason I'm a Forex trader by night and stock trader by day. I've become involved in the business side of things over the last two years and have become a direct affiliate and partner with several firms andel combined together they can be utilized for anyone looking to start a career in day trading. My partner firms provide training trade signals chat room mentoring analysis etc. And I'm looking for cost effective ways to drive traffic to the links squeeze pages and landing pages I have. ifind that to use solo ads or buy clicks or lists is quite expensive, I've tried fiverr Facebook ads google a d words and I don't seem to be getting the results I need with this industry being a niche market. I'm leaning towards giving the solo ads a try but not sure. Can anyone help?

    Hi.

First of all you need to understand
there are 2 ways of driving traffic.

There is a free way and a paid way...

Lets talk about the paid way first.
Paid is very simple and exactly what is said.
You pay to drive traffic to a specific page.

    The FREE way.
I don't really consider this the free way as its very time consuming
and I believe time = money.

Paid traffic comes quick but its very cold
traffic and can take time for them to convert
    into sales.

The free way can take time but once
it comes the traffic itself is warmed up
and sales can come more quicker
once the free traffic starts rolling.

So now im going to tell you my way
to build better relationships so people
    can convert more better

    REMEMBER PEOPLE BUY INTO YOU,
    NOT THE ACTUAL PRODUCT.

The best way to build that relationship
    is by a BRIDGE page.

So what is a bridge page.

A bridge page is a page where it sits
between the opt in page and the
sales page, where you make a small
video of yourself welcoming them and
letting them know whose list they are
    actually coming onto.

I call this the KLT factor.

    K- KNOW
    L- LIKE
    T- TRUST

    So when someone goes through
your squeeze page and opts-in, the
next page they see is the bridge page
with you on the video where they get to
    KNOW you.

Remember to give them more value in the
follow up emails where they get to know
and like you better and if you provide them
with great value and help them get results.

This is where the LIKE comes in...

Once you have built this KLT factor I can assure
you that their wallets will open more easily when
you promote a product that you know will benefit
your clients or email list that you have built with
    the relationship...

I hope you found this very beneficial as I have been
applying this for myself and seen massive results.

    GOOD LUCK...

Lets talk about paid way, I mean the free way, never mind I mean the paid way.

Tip: Get a picture of you and not some dude putting his shirt on. You talk about trust but have that garbage on your site and as your profile picture.

Tip2: Stop worrying about the temperature of traffic. They are people and if you want to remove the human element, then it's all cold until they buy from you.

Instead of focusing on trying to SAVE MONEY, focus on INVESTING instead.

People who make money are driven by ROI

They aren't afraid to spend money to make MUCH MORE MONEY.

Cost effective traffic may be cheap but you're usually left settling for cents on the dollar.

    There are plenty of ways,

Pay social media page admins a small fee to promote your site.
    Forum/blog commenting.
Youtube is my favorite. Create some great free tutorials on everything within your niche and link them to your site with a related article.

    Hi,

The most cost effective way of bringing in loads of traffic I know is top ranked social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, G+, Linkedin, Pinterest, Tumblr, and lot many.

It is not only FREE but you will also get an extremely huge exposure for your site.

It all comes down to targeting.

If you are trying to sell a popsicle to an eskimo, no matter how much traffic you would sent, you'd probably make 2 sales LOL! (if lucky)

I don't go for lots of traffic anymore, i go after quality traffic.

Don't go to fiverr, bad personal experience. Try using social media, especially twitter, pinterest, and youtube. If you can create free content on youtube you can guarantee thousands of visitors.

Best advice I can give you is to test all sort of paid places online.

When ever you post an ad, track to see if you are getting leads/sales.

Most people just shoot in the dark when it comes to online marketing. You want to know which places work for you and which ones don't.

    Track each traffic source.

I'm a former trader for a hedge fund who is now doing IM and I have to say this is one of the most difficult niches I've ever attempted in my 1 year or so at IM even as someone who is fairly knowledgeable about the finance/trading. Adsense ads in this space are typically $8-20 a click whereas most other niches are $1-5 each.

Stocktwits is a pretty good place to get free traffic from this niche as long as you regularly post ideas and commentary on the stocks and Forex pairs you follow. Slip a link or two to your site at the end of some of your short tidbits.

Right now, I'm put up a website with about 20 articles I've written about trading, investing, personal finance, etc. and am trying to guest post on other authority sites in this niche.. not sure how it'll go but will try to keep you posted.

I agree with writeaway...focus on ROI instead of where you can find the cheapest traffic (traffic exchanges for example). Cheap traffic doesn't convert that well.

Could you start a podcast on trading, or perhaps reach out and be the guest on podcast shows?

You get to put yourself in front of loads of people, demonstrate your knowledge, build trust, create a name for yourself and get traffic.

It's cheap, and effective (from what I hear).

The most cost effective way is with paid advertising. But to make it truly cost effective, you have to be clever. You can:

    - Launch a joint venture with another non-competitive business owner in your niche

    - Go into a small niche and advertise cheaply all over the place for a low cost (due to low or no competitors)

    - Email marketing to past customers (called "backend marketing")

    - Branch out into new forms of marketing (mobile marketing)
