What the heck did they do to this place? I couldn't find anything when I first logged in today. It was all messed up. What in heck happened?

Hey Tim good see you back been awhile

Don't like the Reno huh lol after Allan sold this to the new mob they change a lot and about 50% left
and the 50% who did leave were like you experienced , so now you just the questions that would have been nuked by the mods before getting posted

This mob will left anyone post a thread then after some warriors make noise they nuke it , nothing like the old and never will be

It just takes some time to get used to

Any site is a work in progress-it evolves based on user engagement, ROI, ROE, and most importantly ACTUAL user behavior

changes are to be expected

One thing that I like is the status update (see the bell icon on the top right?).

Pretty quick and easy way to see if the threads you've started had activity.

  I remember the good old forum days, back when there were so few usernames and passwords to remember that I didn't have to write them down or use a password manager. Now you need to register if you're gonna fart while you're surfing.
  
  Anyway, back then everybody pretty much knew each other. It was cool. Unfortunately, given that I CRS, I have not one name to throw atcha'. Oh well.

I was just blowing off steam 'cuz I came here to find out something and it was all messed up and I didn't see the same pages I was used to when I typed the URL in. I don't spend all day here like I used to, and some weeks never even drop in. Since Alan sold it, it isn't the same site and has deteriorated in my opinion. I hardly know anyone. But as you guys were saying, the only stable thing in life is change. Sometimes it is hatrd to keep up with and gets confusing.

Thanks for asking about my health @discrat. I am still kicking. It is a full time job but then no one said it was going to be easy.
