IM: Do you really teach the whole funnel process to your customers?

One question for those who are in the Make Money Online niche.

Do you teach them how to create a list, funnel etc?

Do you have the feeling that by doing that you will probably create a few competitors?...
And that once some of them will understand and manage the funnel process, they might unsubscribe of your list?

Thanks.

There are so many tools/software to set up sales funnels. Don't think anyone still need to be taught on how to do it. It's all in the doc/tutorials.. all provided by the software developers. Still a "secret'' doing funnels?

      Hi,

Yes there are a lot of informations everywhere, and that's the problem...

The customer wants to have the process step by step, niche, hosting, squeeze page, OTO, upsell, downsell, sale letter, auto responder emails, etc...

Most of the time you don't find everything at the same place in the same product/formation.

You can (I did), but for me it's not that easy to find a full example of the process for free.

You are right I do coaching from time to time and people still ask basics even if they know it it's like they want to confirm that what they are about to implement is correct since there are so many options and their confidence level is low and often they are paying for that. So when I sell coaching I try to keep it detailed and step by step and it pisses a few people off but for every 1 mad there are 10 happy, and you can't make everyone happy (that's life).

  • Competition is good, it's more potential links for your brand! Yeah might take you longer to rank for certain keywords but there's more places than just Google for traffic.

    There aren't any secrets.

    Just fundamentals.

And a ton of people trying to bypass fundamentals by looking for secrets.

    Competition?

    Ha. Please.

    a) the world is big enough

    b) people are so lazy, nobody's going to catch up and even if they do, see (a)

    c) there's only one of me.

Yes It just depends from whom you are taught

This world is too big ,forget about the competition as of now focus on building one and take massive action ,Since you have just started out

Do not waste your time in theory simply implement it

Yes this is what I do since yesterday

And you are right, internet is big, no need to worry about the competition.

I teach one actionable item at a time.

Trying to teach the entire funnel at once means almost none of your students will actually get/see any results.

If you're in the IM niche and none of your students are making money, it will actually only HURT your reputation/ability to sell your own stuff.

        Think about this:

What's the best way to get new students into an IM coaching program?

Write a sales page, then put a literal TON of video testimonials of your previous students talking about how much money they've made. If you can do that, you'll never have to worry about competition because people will FLOCK to you.

Worry less about creating competition, and more about creating results for others and you'll never go hungry again.

Like one of my college profs liked to say, "ain't none of us as smart as all of us."

            John,

I don't know if that is necessarily true.

I look at the front-runners in the US presidential elections and I wonder about the combined intelligence of "the masses" ...

Just like I sometimes wonder about some of the popular IM advice given on this forum.

We haven't seen what the masses think of the POTUS contenders. So far, it's mostly the party faithful on the far edges of both parties weighing in, at least in the caucus/primary system.

I don't think my old prof was really referring to "hive intelligence" either way. He was trying to tell us that nobody knows it all.

Usually when a person gets good valuable content/info you would think they would stay on the list. They know they got value and so why should they opt out?

You're worried about creating a few competitors in the Make Money Online marketplace? How many million are already there?

Instead, worry about the things you can control. Like how you're going to position your business in a very, very competitive marketplace. How are you going to provide your customers and prospects with something unique and different from everyone else?

By choosing to focus your efforts on one small thing . . . one tiny corner of the overall under-served marketplace . . . you will be reducing your competition vastly.

Pick your battles, stay extremely focused, do only what you can do very well, be the only logical choice for your audience and you will be richly rewarded.

The competition is big yes but I'm only interested by this niche

I have decided to create my own content, in french and english (I'm french).
I'm sure the competition is lower in the french market, because most of the time the content (PLR etc) is in english language.

And many people in France don't feel comfortable when they are obliged to learn something in english language, so I think this is an opportunity.

I know a few french marketer but it can't be compared to the number of marketers from USA etc, in this business we are like 30 years behind you...

So If I decide to target the french ppl, the market will be smaller, maybe less customers.. but at the same time, less competitors... so I want to try.

If it works I will do the same for other languages.

      So I will see...
