Squeeze page not loading properly on website

I uploaded my squeeze page to my website straight to my cPanel but when I checked it online, all of the images and words are missing and the page is distorted. I then decided to upload it using Filezilla with the same results. I don't understand this because everything works fine offline but when I check through after Publishing it Online, the whole page is distorted. I tried to also check online for a solution but found none that gave me a satisfactory solution or a solution i could understand.

I'm totally confused and would be so happy if someone could shed some light on this mystery.

Thanks,

    felisitie,

This is usually a result of the file locations still pointing back to your local PC and not the server.

For example an image may point to

    \\file\c\users\jeff\desktop\squeeze\image.jpg

Which would need to be changed to the server path:-

    http://www.yourdomain.com/squeeze/image.jpg

Same for any other local reference like CSS file locations:

    \\file\c\users\jeff\desktop\squeeze\style.css

    Should be:

    http://www.yourdomain.com/squeeze/style.css

    Hope this helps.

I can't answer that as it depends on what software you are using to create the squeeze page. There may be an option to use relative URLs or something similar, or once completed and you are ready to upload just do a search and replace in your text editor and replace all instances of:

    \\file\c\users\jeff\squeeze\

    with

    http://www.mydomain.com/squeeze/

and that will take care of it as well.

If you PM me the squeeze page link I can take a look for you if you like.

To change the image file paths you just need to open your squeeze page in your editor and change the image files located on the squeeze page its self. This would include the css files. You need to make the changes right on the squeeze page html code just as Jeff has suggested.

    I hope this is helpful,
