I have a good Mp3 related domain - I am not sure what to do - Any help?

Hey guys and gals - Check out my mp3 domain (site is live with logo),

Mp3.Digital

Its just search bar on it now with a logo. Just threw it up there for now.

Does anyone have experience with mp3/media/video/tube style sites? What are some ways I can build a site with this type of domain?

Thanks so much

While I don't have any experience with building those kinds of sites, I can tell you that "mp3.digital" gives the impression that the site provides... well, mp3 downloads.

As for the legality of it, I don't think you should just offer up free mp3's for download (copyright issues) but maybe you can find an affiliate program of some sort for paid downloads.

To be honest, with a site name like that your options are pretty limited in terms of what visitors will expect.

How you monetize that site is another matter entirely, and I suggest you start researching that now.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Go to jQuery Plugins - Bootstrap Plugins - WordPress Plugins and look up any music related script for your new MP3 related domain. This is what I would do until I really get the site going. You can run an automated music search engine site. I think the script i am referring to is called winemp3 . I wish you the best of luck

Not taking any personal shots at Mr. Forex, but I always wonder about people who post that they found a good/great domain name but have no idea what to do with it.

Without some clue, how do you decide it's a good/great domain?

Seems to me it's kind of backward - wouldn't it work better to have an idea/plan and look for a domain to support that?

I ask because it seems to be a recurring theme around here, and has been for about as long as I can remember.
