LinkShare terminated me in less than 48 hours

What's up with Rakuten/Linkshare?

So not even 48 hours ago I signed up for an account.

I did nothing with the account in the <48 hours. Didn't even sign up with any merchants let alone promote anything.

They refuse to tell my why they shut me down. The termination email stated nothing so I emailed case management and they stated pretty much nothing again...

Under the terms of your Publisher Membership Agreement, Rakuten Affiliate Network has the right to terminate your participation in the Network in its sole discretion, with or without cause. No further information will be provided on this matter and your Rakuten Affiliate Network account will not be reinstated.
What could I possibly be in violation of, opening an account?

    You're never going to know for certain if they won't tell you. The most likely things off the top of my head would be one of the following:

    - They thought there was something fraudulent about the info you used to sign up (eg. address mismatch, SS/Tax ID mismatch, etc).
    - They thought there was something suspicious about the manner of your connection used to sign up (eg. vpn, proxy, etc).
    - They made some connection between you and someone who was previously banned.
    - There was something about one or more of your websites that violated their policies.
    - There was something else you put in your application details that raised suspicion.

    I've never had any problem with them but they also may be more strict with applications from certain countries (don't know where you are from). Regardless, if they are not willing to talk to you about it, you will just have to move on and use other networks or affiliate programs.

    That's fine. I had no immediate use for them as they did not have merchants in a niche I am promoting that were worth it. But it's very strange.
