Let's Talk About Squeeze Pages For A Moment

So I'm really loving the personalities on this forum. There's a wealth of knowledge and it's always great to hear about upcoming products, methodologies, and self-fulfilling prophecies of finances gained through digital marketing.

So without further adieu, I'd like to ask you:

- What Makes A Successful Squeeze Page?

- What content, layout, attribution do you feel makes a successful, self-converting squeeze page?

- And how do you go about making one? Are you using a collection of tools or software?

  • Hey

For me the headline is the selling point - I think the page should be short and to the point, keep the page content to a bare minimum. I think testimonials also help to increase trust and build authority too.

Software wise LeadPages or OptimizePress are the best in my eyes!

    Hope This Helps

write an excellent headline that will grab your visitors attention.

And you can do that in 3 ways:

    *Pique Their Curiosity
    *Offer a Big Benefit
    *Win Them Over

you don't need to fill your squeeze with lots of content. just be straight with what they'll get after hoping in.

one of the best tools to create killer squeeze page is optimizepress. or you can buy ready made templates that're proven to convert. visit wso section and you find ones that suit your needs.

    The software does not matter.

The match of message to market does.

WHO is seeing your squeeze page? If it's a bunch of disconnected solo ad list members, with nothing in common, it's not going to do well. If it's a consistent supply of pre-qualified people in the specific field the squeeze page addresses, it will do better.

People get all caught up in the wrong things. Software. Copy.

You can have an ugly page with mediocre copy that performs very well because the people who are visiting it are a great match for that message.

So ask yourself: who is visiting this page?

I see this often as the last question people here ask, rather than what it should be: the first.

You could make the prettiest, most sexy lead capture page and it may not get you the results that you want. Just as Jason said above...there are different factors to take into consideration like:

    1- Your Traffic Source

    2- Warm or Cold Traffic?

    3- Your Credibility...who knows you?

4- Alignment: The page has to be in direct alignment to what your visitors are after. Any disconnect and your page won't convert. Your headline, font sizes, colors and content need to 'match'.

5- Quantity: If it's cold traffic that doesn't know you, you will need a lot of traffic. If the traffic is warm (they know who you are and you seem credible), then you can get more conversions (leads) with less traffic.

Internet Marketing is not something you can just learn by visiting a forum.

It is a skill that has to be 'nurtured' over time by taking action and making adjustments along the way. Because everything always looks good on paper but in reality it's a different thing all together.

Jason absolutely hits it on target. Of course if you match the Market with your Offer correctly and openly express the benefits in an efficient manner its hard to go wrong. Catch headlines doesn't hurt either.

But really let what he said sink in
