Which FREE TRAFFIC method do you like the most?

There are hundreds of similar threads already in the forum, so you might want to check them out if you haven't done so.

Anyway, I personally love SEO, guest posting and Youtube marketing. I also use social marketing and forum marketing but for me the previous 3 strategies send me most of my free visitors.

My favorite would be article syndication. It's similar to guest posting, with the difference that you give every website/publisher the same article to publish - you don't write unique content.

However, to make it really worthwhile, the person employing this technique must be a hell of a writer. It's also good for SEO since you get backlinks from many niche-relevant websites/blogs.

Social media (Twitter & Instagram works best for me.)

But you can't start with social media and expect to get good traffic in a month or so (Unless you are running 1000s of accounts with bots.)

For me Facebook groups. You can find the right people and, to make the matter even better for you, you can get in front of them at the right time! ( Something should be learned with daily practice).

Another cool website I currently use frequently ( works with any niche) is usfreeads.com. You can promote your business as well as building backlinks to your money making websites.

Blogging all day long. It's one of my passions and I have a few... Blogging is long-term thing. Results compound over time in a big way.

I prefer blogging and forum marketing. I used to love article marketing, but now i don't. I don't mind writing alot - i'm good at it. But nowadays truthfully i do alot of paid advertising.

I love creating content and re-purposing it into multiple forms (video, PowerPoint presentations, PDF documents, etc.).

I then take that content and distribute it using the relevant channels (YouTube for videos, SlideShare for PowerPoint, etc.).

At the end of the content, there's a call-to-action for the person viewing it to check out a related resource (whatever you're promoting).

Facebook + forum posting

I think YouTube marketing might be one of the best, and if done correctly. There are plenty of resources you can look up that'll show you how. The others are good too, but I've personally seen more success driving traffic through youtube and video marketing

I like using Facebook groups Put a post every day it will generate a lot of traffic if you join 50 to 100 groups.

free traffic is not allways that good buying traffic is the best but i would say youtube

You Tube has been most profitable for me as well as facebook groups.

Content marketing and social media marketing are the most effective and you can get the most referral traffic from these methods.

personally I started as an affiliate, and this has given me a lot of satisfaction.
But now a lot of the social networking use, are really an inexhaustible source of contacts.

I'm getting some good results now leveraging authority sites and getting content ranked above the fold for my keyword phrases. Couple backlinks in some certain spots pretty much gets me there everytime for a few days.

I like the Forum posting, Social Media site, blog commenting, Article submission & So on. These all type is traffic are free of cost. If you know how to do these work. You can do by yourself, if you do not know how to do these work, you can hire a freelancer form any freelancing market place. Nowadays there are many freelancer are working in this field. Well, it is quite funny because I realized that I don’t know any free methods at all.

YouTube

This is the method I have been using for years. I don’t use any shortcuts but in exchange YouTube sends me steady traffic for the videos I uploaded years ago.

Talking heads are my favorites. I use Fiverr or ask my current customers for a favor.

But as I said it is not free and totally worth it if done right:

Professional Niche Blog

Another long term project you can count on. Effective blog consists of 50-100 blog posts. The price starts from $1000 if you are not going to lift a finger. You need professional articles and pictures, that’s all. No need to do backlinging because you will get ton of traffic from long tail keywords which converts really well.

Facebook has shown some great results and pricing not too bad

I think Youtube is the most effective
as in terms of ranking you can get

nothing in world is free and its fee then its not worth it ..getting better traffic and specific traffic you have to have invest some money in start ..like Facebook or adword ,bing etc ..

For me, social media sharing has worked wonders. Do focus on Facebook & Twitter more than everything else, and you will be going places.

You can do traffic from social network (Facebook, G+, Tweet, Linkedin, Pinterest), QA network (Quora, Yahoo Answer), Forum. I like Linkedin. I think it is more formal and effective than Facebook.

Regardless of the method you like using most, It's always a good idea to reverse think into which method will provide most targeted traffic.
To generalize, Facebook groups are usually excellent.

Social Media especially facebook is great in bringing in laser targeted traffic.

I look at Online Marketing as Philosophy at times.

"How do I do X by trying out X?" is essentially the formula.. but people over-complicate it day in and day out.

When it comes to traffic, keep things simple. Market yourself on social media platforms, BUY ADVERTISING SPACE.

Free will get you nowhere, real quick.

Posting Forum and article marketing man!

For me using Facebook groups and connecting with people using private message to send them a special offer or free offer work good for me. Also joining forums such as this one and adding a signature ad, like the one below this post is also a great way to get free traffic.

My take on traffic is not to spread yourself too thin!

Try a couple of methods which interest you and if they work, scale them up...When you're happy with these then add another to your traffic tool bag!

My top 3 at the moment are:

1. Regular content (blog etc.). With a bit of SEO thrown in but not at the expense of having little time to write new content. Also, articles and posts need to be created 'reader friendly', worst thing you can do is to write for the search engines and forget about your readers.

2. Document sharing. Most (but not all!) of the guides I write get submitted around the web on document sharing sites.

3. Video. Doesn't take long once you get into the habit!
Any new blog post, tip that I want to share or product that I've used and I want to recommend, get their own video.

And straight onto YouTube of course!

facebook groups works great for me so far.

At the moment, probably forum marketing and social media...

My best ones are quality content on the blog - it is surprising what long tail keywords get found. Also Youtube. Videos keep a trickle of traffic coming. Add lots of trickles and you get a flood. Still workin gon my trickles.
