Returning affiliate marketer, forgotten much of it, looking for simple, reliable program

Hiya, my story is that of an internet marketer that made some money of of a diet pill from a Health affiliate network. I made some money out of it, but then Google changed their algorithms and I lost my ranking, and nothing else I tried ever worked as well.

1. Could you recommend something that is, first and foremost, pretty much guaranteed to make me some money, it doesn't need to be a fortunate, and I've got all day really, so I'm happy to put in some time in it, but I can't be spending all my time on something that doesn't have a proven track record to work at least quite well, doesn't need to be a fortune! If I could make like £300 ($500) a month from it after putting in the effort, that would be wonderful, that'd pay half my bills!

2. Please can you recommend something easy to follow that basically guides you by the nose. I'd rather follow some straight-forward program since forgetting most that I learnt about affiliate marketing and SEO. I want something simple. I am not willing to select my own affiliate program and my own SEO services right now.

3. It needs to be cheap, like, really cheap, I could only possibly budget maybe at most £40-50 a month to invest in this, at very most. What I have to invest is time.

Yeah I could just do article writing and get paid for that, since I have a way with words, but I don't enjoy it at all. There's no chance of something like that ever really taking off, it's just steady money, and I don't like having to research all the boring subjects and such that I'd be required to write about. Tried that, didn't work. Now I'm looking for a lead by the nose, easy to follow, dependable service, an all-in-one internet marketing service of some kind.

Could someone please recommend me some such service that still works in 2016?

Thanks for your help!

No, I can't nor can anyone else. If you want guaranteed money on demand (like the amount you're asking) get a job.

Your budget can easily cover a domain name, web hosting, and an autoresponder service. That's all you need to make a solid income with affiliate marketing (as far as overhead is concerned).

P.S. I'm sorry to hear about your social phobia issues so don't take the "get a job" thing personally. I feel bad for that statement in light of your condition. I apologize. However, the rest of what I said still stands. I wish you the best.

Thanks, those were the kind of services I was talking about.

Of course, my main concern is that they might well guide you by the hand and get you to create wonderful sites, and even choose the niche quite well, but these days, affiliate marketing is such a competitive industry, I could put all that work in and get almost nothing, and then, as happened to me before, I'll have to start again on a whole new project.

I get what you're saying though, maybe there are ways to make guaranteed money online, but they are services that guarantee that you won't go that far, like writing articles or filling out surveys...

To be honest, I used to sell jewellery online for a wholesaler of my Mum's, as well as her art and craft products as a separate business, and so it's going to be hard to get back into just the jewellery selling on Ebay, but the nascent jewellery had major advantages, like, the items are small, leightweight, generally much higher value, and more popular on Ebay.

I could run nearly everything from my flat and only need to leave most of the time to hit the Post Office three times a week...Sorry, this is getting off topic, but I would have guarantee of making some money there, he paid me a commission for each sale....

Hmm, so hard to compare the two. Of course, for someone with my issues, the idea that affiliate marketing can be managed entirely from home and entirely on your own time are serious benefits in its favour, I'm such a night owl.

Thanks for recommending those services, I'd heard of them before, maybe I'll go that route...Maybe dabble in a bit of both.

Ahh, there's a good place to start.

Here's the thing; when you're now getting started it's always easier if you have a predictable source of income so you can fund whatever little expenses you have (like web hosting and an autoresponder).

If this encourages you at all, I started making money online with affiliate marketing so I can tell you from experience that the process is NOT a complex one.

Just take your time for a bit to decide on what you want to do for the long-haul.

Then you can get to work once you've come to terms with that.

      Regards,
      Daniel

        Hi

I have been online for a while but decided to get serious with affiliate marketing two and a half months ago. You can't beat affiliate marketing if you're starting out, everything is done for you!
I have been promoting Patric Chan's CB Passive Income and have already made 3 sales totaling $105
It also has all the training you need to get started.

There is nothing guaranteed in online marketing, that aside, here are a couple of courses that are step by step that can help you gettng started and make money from being an Amazon Affilaite:
    1. Extreme Review and Straight Line Amazon Passive Profits - shows you how to pick a niche and write reviews with step by step instructions
    or
    2. Pajama Affiliates Home Blogging And Affiliate Marketing Course - again step by step and with real live examples.

Neither course requires an ongoing membership fee, nor is there building backlinks other than social media. Your ongoing costs will be hosting and time for writing reviews and articles for youer blog.

Thanks for sharing your personal experience.

In my opinion, the best and most trusted way to earn money for life is starting with your own niche blog.

Write some 20-30 long informative articles, post it on your blog, and promote all over social media.

Once you get a good number of visitors, apply for Google Adsense, Amazon Affiliate, and Yahoo Publishers program.

Continue writing, posting, and promoting blog content for life.

Sorry to hear about your "Issues" but just like so many before you (If i had to guess, more than half) turn to MMO as a last resort, a Hail Mary so to speak... And they all are after the same: easy money, guaranteed money, step by step instructions etc. etc.

It's desperation and hope which more often than not leads to failure, the MMO "business" is tough to crack. If you didn't suffer from these ailments i would tell you to get a steady job first, so that you can restart your IM under less pressure to succeed and build from there....

What you are looking for does not exist, and if it did, you would need to add some zeros to the $40-50/month price tag (I don't feel like looking up the accent code for the Pound Sign, or whatever its proper name is, lol).

And you need to give serious thought to salesguru's post above.

And you need to understand that the solution to things like your anxiety are not to be found in Aff Mkgtng, nor in a stack of money. If that's your life right now, and you need to find a way to make money with those issues, you can, but ya gotta separate them from business, and not make the solution to those problems reliant upon the success of an online business.

And there is a significant portion, the majority, actually, of the 7,000,000,000 people walking around Planet Earth everyday that have to, day after day, do a bunch of crap they don't want to. Like how you feel about trying to sell some writing.

Whether you want to or not, you need to make some money, because 40-50/month is NOT enough to start, maintain, and grow an Affiliate business in 2016. CERTAINLY not in as competitive a niche as you are talking about jumping into. You need to make money. From everything you have said in this thread, I would suggest your only real option is to try to get a few thousand saved up from writing, while YOU are educating YOURSELF about the different business models people have had success with, and then how you can apply/adapt that to your situation. And don't expect it to come overnight or without potential HIGH AMOUNTS OF STRESS. Can you handle more stress in your life right now?

Salesguru is right - MOST, the vast majority, who visit a site like this and say to themselves, "I am going to make a fulltime living via IM," won't make it. If you are planning on solving your issues (not the financial ones) by selling a diet pill via IM, well, I am only trying to be helpful when I tell you that you need a new plan ...

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll research those services you recommend.

I think my best option right now is to get well enough to sell some jewellery on Ebay, and then if I'm making a bit of consistent money that way, I could start to invest what I don't need for my expenses into an affiliate marketing project, but with much less pressure involved, since I'd have another source of income supporting me.

I don't want to sound too pie in the sky about it, I know how competitive this market is, I just wondered what people thought was the safest bet right now, for somone with little investment. My use of the word 'guaranteed' was obviously a mistake that's set some people off, but I understand why. I did do this stuff for a couple of years and I learnt how hit and miss it could be.

Thanks for the tips, that's probably all I need to go on for now!

If you sell any, you should be able to scale it up. Recruit other producers on consignment.
