Where to host videos and pdfs for WSO

I will be selling my first WSO in a couple of weeks. Where should I host the videos and the PDFs? How do you protect them once they are hosted?

You can host your videos and PDFs inside a WishList style membership site.

Although I've never used it myself (never made my own products) I've bought a few courses that use WishList to give customers access to their product.

It's supposed to be easy to set-up (not too technical) and your members gain access by creating a password protected account once they've completed their purchase.

Perhaps you should look into it.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Your videos can just be YouTube hosted videos with privacy settings turned on. As far as file hosting it depends on how you are setting up your wso. You can just host it on the same wordpress site you set it up on. Another option for simple file storage is Amazon web services. Or you could just host your files publicly on google drive or dropbox.

I have 11 videos and the website is a shared hosting account. I don't think I can use that much bandwidth. I will need to host elsewhere.
      Thanks,
      Linda

      That's a no no.

If the videos require payment to access them, you can not host on youtube (legally).

      Here is a "legit" way.

Shared hosting will be just fine.

Set up a membership site with wordpress. If you are really good, you'll hook an autoresponder into the mix which will get new members info without them having to confirm a subscription. This is legal to do if you sold them something.

Get amazon storage for the video, and you can use a couple of different things here to pull the videos in. Something like easy video player(NOT the free plugin, have not tried that) is nice to use - but there are other choices.

You'll be able to put all your member content in there (in the wp site).

Other option is to zip it all up into chunks, and members can download them.

I agree with the other posters. I personally prefer to create a members area in WP to protect everything.

If you're simply selling a PDF ebook the easiest solution would be to use ejunkie or something similar.

Why can't you host them on your own site, or even on a site like Mediafire?
