Help Me, Confide Me! Is This True?

Okay, I've been holding back to post another silly post about article marketing and I'm sure to get scolding from Warriors but I need assurance and something to build up my courage...so I must post this..

Here's my story in short...
I have a full time job that occupy most of my time but I'm also earning negative income from this job. Well, the reason is because I've accumulated a sum of credit card & personal loan debts which take away 90% of what the day job is paying me just to pay the minimum due every month. And I know I cannot stand long before I can't afford to pay the minimum payment. The other 10% is used to support the family which is hardly enough. My wife is working too and is supporting the family for most expenditure. I feel sick about myself for being so useless.

I've been online since 2005 and learned lots of IM stuff but have no extra cash to spare to venture most of the methods except article marketing. Recently I've just got platinum status at EZA with my 10 articles submission but they had only generated 1 CB sale. Here's my dilemma. I know most people will tell me to keep my dayjob and do article marketing parttime till I have achieved something before I quit and that was exactly what I've been thinking too.

The problem is, my day job is draining my energy and I really can't write any articles when I am home. I force myself to try that before but when I re-read the article when my mind is conscious again, I found that the article has a lot of grammatical errors and sound nonsense. So, my plan is to to just quit the dayjob and focus on article writing but I'll have to be prepared to ignore lawyer letters etc. from all that creditors.

What I'm afraid is how long will it take this article marketing to generate at least $1k per month to keep the creditors away from my family and me? I do not have the confident that it's doable and I need some words of encouragement from your personal experience to take this risk. But these Warriors's stories really make me thinking...Sree94, BryanZimmerman and Daniel Molano.

They have shown me that $1k per month is very doable within 30 days! But I'm scared. And the purpose of this post is I need more Warriors to confide me with their own experience that it's true before I take the risk to quit my dayjob and do article marketing wholeheartedly. Sorry if this sound like a gamble but the fact is, sooner or later I will have no power to cover even the minimum payment with the current dayjob.

    Keep your day job! On your days off offer article writing service to keep the cash flowing. If you're good then I gaurantee you'll be flooded with orders.

    Lots says you can make 1k per month but what if you don't ? Dont quit the day job!

    Theres always going to be people needing articles and this a good service to provide.

    I agree, keep your day job!

    Do you have say $50 a week to spare? Buy articles for $2-$5 and submit those.
    You'll just find yourself in more trouble if you quit your day job.

    Get a new job that pays more.

    The Internet is not a get rich quick solution and whatever your business model you can't guarantee your income - which you need to do.

    Consolidate your debts - if you call your CC companies and tell them you can't afford to pay what they ask and ask them to freeze your interest and accept an amount you can afford - they're obliged to try and work with you.

    Get a better job - You may think this is impossible but it's not.

    There are people everyday doing less work than you and earning much more.

    Think hard about your skills and what you could do.

    Work out how much you NEED for your situation to be comfortable and look for jobs that pay at least that. Find ones that you can do and write a new CV which aligns your skills with what they're looking for.

    The Internet is great and I personally got rid of $100k of debts myself from IM, but it doesn't happen quickly and you need a more robust plan.

    You owe it to your family to have a better plan than "The Internet will make me money".

    Once you have secured a better income, you'll feel better about everything and even if you still don't have the time, you can start outsourcing things to build up your business.

    That's the best advice I can give you.

    I know you may want to hear - yeah IM is the answer do x y z, but that would be irresponsible to suggest.

    If you have reached Platinum Status at EZA I am going to assume you are a decent writer. I know many articles on the site are crap but I am not going to point any fingers because frankly I do not really know who post those articles...

    Here is my point though... If you are a decent writer then why not create a product such as a digital report that will help solve someone elses issue and use article marketing to help sell this digital product ???

    It really is not as complex as many make it out to be when you know the subject you are talking about. If you have knowledge of a specific subject and you know how to solve someone elses problem with this knowledge then you can easily in 1 - 2 days create a good digital report (blueprint, ebook, whatever you want to call it).

    You can easily install a blog to sell this product from since you have no money to play with. Get a domain name, hosting, and install a blog. Create blog post based on this product and have the product for sell on the blog. Make sure at the same time that you have an opt-in form for those that do not buy now.

    Branch out and start using many other article directories and not just EZA, you have go articles, articledashboard, articlesnatch, articlesbase, amazines, and other directories you can post on.

    While doing all my many things as I do everyday, I have written 2 wonderful articles today and one is 700 words+ and the other 900 words+ ... These only took me maybe an hour to write up. I could easliy transform them into a short report or spend another 1 - 2 hours and have an entire digital product. This is how easy it really is....

    Hi Andy,
    I think of that as well and have sent out 3 application letters last week but no reply so far. However, I managed to secure sales job with better pay which in fact will provide relieve to my current situation but later be turned down because I requested them to wait for 3 months before I can start work. Reasons? My current employment requires a 3 months notice! I was mad and confused.

    That was perhaps the best offer that I managed to get in the current economic situation. I feel like trapped and have no options. I really don't know what to do. And I understand that there will be arguments with my wife very soon if I don't get a fix. I feel like crying but I just don't know what else can I do.

      I hear you - you're describing what was my situation about 6 years ago.

      The job I had required 3 months too, but it said 'negotiable' and although my boss at that time demanded I stay for all 3, I had been a great employee and helped out a bunch of times with HR things like helping at the weekends etc... so the HR manager basically overturned him and gave me 1 month.

      Most 'normal' people (non-IMers) usually get their best pay increase by swapping jobs,so it's probably still your best bet but harder in this current climate.

      Don't let it jeopardize your relationship with your wife - talk to her about the situation and sit down together and come up with a plan of action.

      I'm sure if you include her, she'll appreciate being able to try and help and you won't be doing stuff that she doesn't see and end up feeling threatened when she asks how it's going.

      Your relationship is even more important than the income.

      I agree with Andy find something better if possible ... I would not dump my day job unless I had the income to cover the bills..

      With that said, you must decide to make a sacrifice.. Many of us that do work online full time have learned this in our early days. What I mean by this is, if you must stay up 1 - 2 hours more at night then do it... You must condition your body and mind to get used to longer hours.

      Take this extra time to do the plan I posted above.. I have my hands in many many pots and I have to take care of many different websites and customers.. But I tell you this "No way I could do all this without the support of my wife"... My wife helps me many times, she gives me advice, when I used to work for clients doing website design she used to do all the color schemes... So my point is here, see if you wife can help by giving a few hours of her time also, this way you both can build a business together...

      This will also help build your relationship stronger by working together on a project and building something you both can be proud of.

    I think article marketing is probably one of the SLOWEST ways to build a real income.

    To be more accurate, you're talking about using traffic from articles to generate sales of affiliate products.

    You could create your own product, offer 75% commissions through Clickbank and be off to the races much faster. And if you want to do article marketing you can drive traffic to your own site instead. At the very least, if you're going to start churning out articles then use that traffic to build a list and don't just send it off to someone else for a small commission.

    Hmmm...what? What will they do if you don't give proper notice, fire you? Same end result.

      They can charge you a fine for leaving early. I worked for a consulting firm that required me to work there for 3 years or they would fine me 6 months salary if I left.

    Keep the day job..... then...go on ebay, and study,study ,study....find a product to sell, that's in high demand,yet a product no one can get hold of...and sell the life out of it.
    I did this years ago. It takes about 2 months of research for every top product you find. You have to knock down every door.
    Once you find a product or 2..test market it..........then sell, sell, sell.........and re-invest that money back into more of the same products.....don't spend any of the money on anything like bills for 2 months....use the money from your day job to pay your bills...sure your going to struggle for a couple months...if you do what I did, you could pick up 50,000.00 in 2 months time.

    Do you're own research.........and don't rely on anyones opinion....but your own.
    If you test market a product and it doesn;t sell move on.
    Great products sell fast.....right from the get go !!
    If you can't sell a product in the first 10 days move on..if..no one wants that product you have. Don't waste time....But the best way is to do research...I always know when I product is going to sell...Before I purchase it.
    Also did you know you can get free products for test selling from China...heck you can even make money for free....get a few test products..these companies hope you sell them....you keep all the money.....and they know if they sell, you'll be back to buy from them.....otherwise you're out of no pocket money.....so do your research.... It can be done...because I did it myself !!
