How do you add login id and password to paypal buynow button process

Customer buys access to a membership site. Ordering via a paypal buy not button. There is no membership database at this stage. The process right now is just ordering, then giving the customer access to a secure members area. So after they buy via paypal, the only option appears to be to direct them to a landing page which is one option paypal offers.

But what I want to do is give them access to a login ID and Password. If I put the login id and password on the landing page then anyone could access that. Should I just do that temporary as a fix, or is there a better way?

I think something like e-junkie was offering people something like the password fix. But that's a paid service and I don't want to have to buy anything. I'm trying to find a free solution.

So to recap what I'm trying to have is that after they buy via paypal they are given a login ID and Password to be able to access a secure page. Does anyone know an easy way to set this up? Thanks

There is a free WP plugin called S2 Member. It could be slightly tricky to set up if you're not techy, but the fact that it's free offsets that disadvantage (paid plugins are arguably faster/easier to set up). So after your user pays via PayPal they would get an email with their login details.

The solution is easy... Just create a separate page with the login id and password on it. Along with this information you provide a link to the login page. You should also supply instructions on what to do.

When people return to your site from PayPal after paying you send them to this new Login Credential page. They can read the short instructions and get the login id and password you want them to have.

Then they can click the only link on that page to take them to your login page and use the info you have provided on the previous page to get into your site.

Only the people who have paid will be directed to this new page so you will not get people logging into your site who have not paid.

    I hope this is helpful,
