If you truly do "know a lot of ways to drive traffic" you should have no problem at all earning money online.

The trouble is . . . you're looking for the quick fix, the easy fast way to make money.

If you want to be successful in this game, use what you know about driving traffic to begin to build a solid long term business.

This is not a sprint to see who is the fastest ... it's more like an endurance race to see who can negotiate the obstacles, create something of value for the customers, and execute profitably.

Affiliate marketing without a budget or a unique lead generation system is tough. My recommendation is to focus on the offers which target a market that you are very familiar with. For example, I'm a musician so I know where other musicians hang out and what they want to achieve in life. This knowledge helps me come up with ideas on how to advertise to them without appearing scammy. The key to success is to be able to empathise with your market, which is achieved much more easily if you already know your audience.

Competition is a good thing and there can never be enough! It means there is great demand. The key is to separate yourself from that competition. Making money online all whether its with clickbank or whomever all comes down to getting quality, targeted traffic and converting that traffic.

If your promoting the same affiliate link the other 10,000 affiliates are promoting using the same traffic source then why should somebody buy from you and not somebody else.

If all those free traffic sources have too much competition, why do you think other people are using them? If your emphasis is on quality, there is no reason why you can't get traffic from free traffic sources.

well if something is overpriced then it has to be ,We all talk we got scammed ,I just cant stop laughing when some one says that y because all the affiliate networks have a minimum refund period of 7 days ,If you cannot decide in 7 days if it is worth it or not then it may take years

i know people they buy best of the best courses they never open them because they forget ,once when they see their credit card statement they realize ooh i spent this this amount ,then they go through the course once they realize their is work involved they call it a scam ,because the refund period is over and they cannot get their money back,
Trust me if something is expensive it has to be because there is a lot of work involved in making it ,Once you start creating that you will know more about it ,If the product has no refund period (i do not think so there is anything which has no refunds these days) do not buy it ,If it has and people still call them scam thats the irony my friend

Here is a couple of things that I would do if I were in your position.

First I would write a report for new marketers on the Internet that educates them about the real value of what you want them to buy.

I would pick out a product from CB that would make you good commissions. Any where from $40-$100.00 range.

I would research every possible angle/benefit for the product and give your reader a clear picture of the product what will do for them.

So far you have nothing but your time invested in the content creation. Open office is free and so is the pdf creator for it.

OF course you could do this with video or both.

Then I would buy a domain using the same name as your report or video. Create a squeeze page using Komposer and insert your autoresponder code on it to build your list.

Give this report/video away for free.

So far you are out maybe $20.00 of your $35. and a few days of time.

Then I would get the word out about your free report or video or both. Start marketing it. Via forums, social sites, blog about it etc.

Now if your commissions are $40.00 a sale and you end up selling say modestly 100 units that would bank you $4,000.

So far you may have spent only $20 and a few days of time for your effort. Not a bad trade off is it?

Ari, all those methods you mentioned still work.

I've used all 3 of these techniques to generate traffic and affiliate sales, so the problem isn't that there's "too much competition".

To see success with any traffic method, especially free methods, you need to be consistent with it for at LEAST a few months to reliably see sales coming in.

Clearly, you're jumping around from method to method without any real sense of commitment.

Here's my advice:

- Choose ONE traffic method.

- Learn as much as you can about doing it correctly. (This is an absolute must or you're wasting your time.)

- Stick to actually doing what you learn for at least 90 days, EVERY day. This is the only way to start making progress.

Ari, driving traffic is not a difficult thing to understand, just like it's not difficult to understand that to lose weight, you need to eat less and workout more (in most cases).

What's difficult is how much WORK is involved.

Once you accept that you need to work your butt off, and you stick to it consistently, you will start to see some results.

Mate, I don't think these are failures. I think they're results and feedback. You say there's too much competition but there's always been too much competition. There was too much competition when the guys who are currently killing it got started. It didn't put them off.

Everything you are doing right now, is acquiring the skill sets.

Right now I'm quite into checking out bloggers, big-assed bloggers and checking out their sites on the way-back machine. Looking at what their sites used to look like... reading the articles how they used to write... and you can see such a change with time.

It's all practise.

Do this for the long-haul. Invest a year, two years, three years...

It takes time for most folk.

The answer is: Get A J.O.B.

Selling online takes patience and persistence. The more prospects that see your ad the better chance it will sell. Prospects being lets say you selling steak to steak lovers. Timing is important also.

Why not have your own blog and provide loads of informative content to install affiliate products in between.

This is a guaranteed way to get a long-term success.

Most of the top internet marketers who do well on Clickbank are spending anywhere between $50 and all the way up to $1,000 per day on effective ads. If they are going to mentor you, they will tell you to spend money to make money.
