Would I be able to sell on Clickbank without a registered business?

Hey everyone, I am an international student in Canada. Due to my Visa regulations, I am not legally allowed to open up a business until I graduate. However, I already dove deep into info marketing and am ready to make and sell my first product. My questions is:

Do I need to register a legal business (fill out the paperwork and stuff) in order to be able to sell via Clickbank? As far as I understand, they will be sending me checks, or transfering money directly to my bank account, but does it need to be a business bank account or it can be a regular student bank account?

Please let me know if you have the answer, it would solve a huge problem for me.
Thanks!

Are you not allowed to start a business in your own country? Or just in Canada?

How far are you from the US border?

Honestly, I'm just asking questions, but this is kinda a legal question which would require someone legal to give you the right answers. Free marketing forum will not likely give you best answers.

I can point out a "work around" in that you could try to find a JV partner who can take care of the legalities side.

          Again, not legal advice.

If you've got your own product and your own bank account and your own paypal account you may be able to just do all this without involving clickbank.

But I don't know your country regulations, etc - so again, I'm not a tax person or a lawyer.

Just in Canada. I come from a very small country in Eastern Europe. Not to be boring with details, it is very undeveloped for e-businesses.

Not even allowed to start a partnership (legally ). I am not just asking a question regarding legal issues. I know that I will definitely be violating some laws, but am I able to receive money to my personal bank account from sales on clickbank?

So, we have really simple stuff here in the US, like a DBA or "doing business as"

Is there a way for you to set this up in your country over the phone and/or with some help from a family member or friend? What can be done in your country to set up the most simple business structure there?

Some of this you're going to need to dive into clickbank rules as well.

I'm not a vendor with them so I couldn't tell you personally.

Who you should be talking to is the entity that issued your visa.

From the sound of it you already believe you are in violation so you are just asking for trouble.

I know that I will definitely be violating some laws,
    Good luck with that.

Probably contact clickbank with clickbank questions, that would be a good start.

You can be a clickbank affiliate as an individual, you just have to provide all the information that they need. I bet you can find that out at clickbank.

I would ask clickbank about this. But just off the top of my head, I don't believe you have to have your business registered.

I'm not going to do your research for you, but click here:

      https://support.clickbank.com/forums...Vendor-Account

I reckon you'll be able to find the requirements they need before you can launch a product with them somewhere on that page (or even a link to a page where the info you need is located)

I was able to open a vendor's account on CB without having a registered business. Of course, that was several years ago. Haven't listed any products on CB since then. Best thing to do is contact their support team and find out for sure.

I think yes. I have been selling clickbank affiliate products and been receiving commissions without a registered business as an affiliate. I do not see any difference with being a clickbank vendor. But of course if you make it big to be noticed by the eyes of the tax department, you should register or else better stay low.

You can receive those checks just like if you had a job here in Canada with direct-deposits, I was underage and cashing-in checks from ClickBank and they never knew about it... At least to what I know of...

Register your business in your own country for now and finish your studies. When the gov will allow you to open a business here, simply close it in your country and re-open in Canada.

It is a digital-based business, you can mark any country you want in the papers it won't matter and it's hard to prove otherwise; it's not based on where you host your websites neither (hosting servers).
