Men Or Women, Which Converts Better?

I'm an offline marketing starting to learn online marketing. I have ran many successful offload new campaigns for my business and others. I'm curious with online marketing, who do you find converts best and responds more to offers, men or women? Offline I would say my average was 75% women and 25% men. I'm curious if online is kind of the same. I know niche matters such as dating, weight loss, make money etc but curious whatever else notices if you even track this or can online.

    Depends on the offer.

Let's use the big 3. Dating, weight loss and make money. What do you think?

Still depends on the offer and sales copy

I imagine you wouldn't want to send males to the Venus Factor...

And the same with sending females to the Tao of Badass

I think that it definitely depends upon the niche….but you're exactly right! It's usually women who convert the best…unless it's make money online. Then I've found that it's more man donated.

I hope that helps and good luck!

99% of lose inner thigh fat would be women; most of the people who want a six-pack abs look are men.

Most buyers of 'the trick to get women to sleep with you' would be men. Most people interested in 'how to cheat on your husband without being caught' would be women.

Saw you refined, but you didn't refine enough. Your question remains invalid.

Even if you converted a lot more, the question would not be that useful because it's missing the context of the offer: what's the hook, what kind of copy you have, etc.

And, by the way, even if you find that women convert better for most people, you found nothing... Your skills come into play and you may or may not match most people.

      But why the question?

Here's the link to an interesting article about how men and women shop online,: Behavioral Differences Between Men and Women Influence Shopping | Practical Ecommerce which might help you increase the conversions of whoever you're after.

To answer your question of which converts better, male or female visitors...

That depends not just on the niche but the specific offer and the "avatar" you're targeting.

By "avatar" I mean a clearly defined idea of what your perfect customer is like.

When you have an offer that matches what your target audience wants, and you communicate it effectively, that will play a bigger role than anything else in your conversions.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Again, it all depends on the offer. You have listed 3 pretty big markets all of which have many niches and sub niches. Use weightloss for example: You have 2 products, one is for "Losing weight after pregnancy" and the other is "Lose weight to get rid of Manboobs" One will convert women and the other will convert men.

I cannot give you an exact ratio, but as per my extensive Internet Marketing experience, I feel you get more women customers as compared to men.

Even I have more women clients than men, possibly 80-20 ratio in my case.

    Women. Men. Both. Neither.

For Sanitary Towels women convert best.

For Razor Blades men convert best.

For Nuclear Warheads Kim Jong Un converts best.

It depends on what you're selling (as well as other factors, of course).

Good luck with your online ventures.

It really depends on the offer and on your niche.
Can you honestly say that if you have an offer for selling power tools 75% of your buyers will be women?
There are too many variables here to say a definitive sentence.

Dating is becoming somewhat specific these days as there are many products today released for women in that area. Everyone wants to succeed in dating but it will mostly depend on product. If product is oriented towards men then it would be logical that men would convert at high percentage, but there is also possibility for women to convert only to learn the ways men are trying with them

As far as Weight loss, mostly woman and obese men that are trying their best to find some ways to lose weight. Since you are in offline marketing, you can know for sure that women are highly interested in dance fitness and pilates releated trainings, and men are into conditional/functional trainings. If you would be promoting products in weight loss, mostly women would convert since every little fat needs to be lost for them to be their best version, even when they have it almost perfect

And as far as earn money online, mostly men and single mother that like cooking (just kidding) In every area there is option for both to convert but since we as a man are more logic, sometimes we wouldn't click and subscribe on things that look suspicious. And for women it's a little bit different since they are more likely emotional and would react differently and subscribe or click on something men wouldn't..

Try split testing your marketing, start with 2 groups, men and women. Later when you see what converts better stick with that

    Wish you best,

    Filip

As Al and Ira said it depends of the Offer.

That being said on the whole Women are much more prolific Buyers on the Internet. And in Life in general

No. I disagree. It all depends on the offer like the guys have been saying above. Women will spend just as much as men (and even more) if they really want something bad enough.

No I disagree. It depends on the woman. I was raised by a single mother who was not easily convinced to buy anything (especially online). She still doesn't part with her money easily. So you can't say that women are easy to convince. It depends on if she really wants something.

The only one that can convince her is herself.

It may depends on your product. Such as if the product for Woment. Convert rate of Women will be high on the flip side if the product is for Men, the converting rate of men will be high. Thanks for your advance.

I think no one can answer exactly. It should be tested by yourself. Try to test and see which one works well for your offer

studies have shown repeatedly that women are the best to market to. They control most of the world's wealth and make most of the buying decisions. Follow the money.

Men by a slight margin...lets call it 51%. Amazing isn't it?

    Of course that's a smart-ass answer to a dumb-ass question.

Totally depends on the niche. Even if it's offline. If you're selling shoes, you're targeting women, if you're selling cars you're targeting men.
