Anyone Take Adobe Web Design Training Courses?

Hey all,
Anyone ever take any adobe training courses through adobe or through other services like total training (http://www.totaltraining.com/prod/ad...tedesign.asp)?

Just curious? Im having issues with conversion rates and getting leads to opt-in so I'm thinking of learning some web design.

You should try and learn how to write effective sales copy. Head over to the copywriting section here and get a million dollar education for... free!

Also, take a look at this thread - Click.

Then, learn how to send targeted prospects (those who are looking for what you have to offer) to your website.

I haven't taken any of the Adobe's courses or any course for that matter, so can't speak for them.

I don't think you really need to learn Adobe to develop a profitable web site.

A simple template that you can buy for less than $50.00 would be enough to have a decent look. Concentrate more on the sales page, product quality and promoting your site rather than web designing.

I see what you guys are saying but you have to agree at at least a certain part of conversion is the look, no?

I agree that copywriting is very important but great copy and a ugly site does mean less conversions.

Look at one of my sites, I don't think the copy is bad (www.buildmuscleandsixpackabs), the opt-ins are so low on that page I don't even want to post them.

Your post was confusing to me at first am but now understanding your dilemma better.

You believe that your current website lacks design standards that can effectually capture email leads to your autoresponder. This may be true but have you been monitoring your conversions? Before you change anything make sure to add analytics to your website for FREE and VALUABLE information. This will aslo help you developing outstanding keywords to compete against.

In saying that if you feel you need more web design skills at this point try an monthly membership at Lynda.com where ALL of the ADOBE products arre learned via video, plus 1,000's of other.

I would also like to point out that your website can be more effective with just a few layout and copy changes, I mean you have the right idea anyhow, BUT -

There may also be an underlying fundamental issue with whatever you are eventually trying to sell and that is "You have NO MAGIC BULLET" in your presentation. Not only that, while viewing your video, your potential clients will obviously be sayin to themselves, this will be the same information I will get in a gym if I ask a supervisor. He will point out the equipment, show the drills and BANG I am set.

This begs the question "What do I need you for?"

Soooo... if I were you (and had your body), I would create an exciting video series that could include a couple of your students that have already had some success with your AB program. The Video would focus on simple home exercises to get 6PAK ABS in 6MONTHS GTD!

Now here is the twist, set up an affiliate with someone like AB-Rocker or any other TV marketed product and show your exercises in two ways, the home FREE way, or the HOME using AB-Product way and clearly show the benefits of the product.

Dude you could easily become the AB Dude on the internet if you do this correctly.

All the best, and PM me for some video creation tips if you like.
