ArticleBot Question: Do Article Directory Scripts Have A Specific 'Signature'?
Hello Warriors:
I bought a copy of ArticleBot yesterday (BigMike's ArticleBot... not the other ArticleBot!) and have been adding my own list of sites to it.
I have added about 30 or 40 sites so far, but am still left with about 50. However, I've run into a problem:
ArticleBot will accept Article Friendly, Article MS, and Article Dashboard sites. The particular scripts in use on the sites I've already added were easy to determine, since it simply stated "Powered by XXXX" in the footer of each.
However, although a number of the remaining sites do superficially look like other sites that use one of the above scripts, it doesn't actually say which it is. (Perhaps an upgraded version to removed the "Powered by..." tag?)
Therefore, before I drop the remainder of the list, does anyone know if there is a way to determine if any of the above scripts are being used on a site, even if it doesn't specifically state which one it is? :confused:
