Is it actually possible to create a FREE Optin Page?

Hey Guys,

I am wanting to create a freebie giveaway for a new site I am creating, and I want to make it on how to get your 1st 100 email subscribers for free in one week.

The only thing I am having problems with, is trying to create an optin page for free. I personally use leadpages myself, but I fear it's going to be way too expensive for someone just getting started (plus I want to try and keep it free for them).

The only thing I have really come up with at the minute, is using a hosted Aweber form (using their 30 day trial), but they look pretty crappy if I am honest.

Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

  • You could find a decent free hosting solution and use WordPress. Something like 000webhost.

Weebly also offers free websites and they have a free squeeze page template.

    • A simple solution is to find a nice free HTML landing page template that you can include with your info product. Give instructions to the users on how to upload it to their hosting and edit the files to have their information. If you know a little HTML, it would be pretty easy to set up and there are ways to simplify the code to make it easier for newbies to understand.

  • That's great that you're trying to help others while growing your list! Congrats!

I think you're on the right track with the hosted web form, but definitely not with Aweber. I would definitely recommend GetResponse! They have ready made templates that are pretty awesome and also have a 30 day free trial with no cc required.

In fact, I actually use to use Aweber and just recently switched to GetResponse…best thing I've done for myself in a while!

Anyways, I hope that helps and good luck!
  • Their are ways to build a squeeze page without using external site like the one that you mention, you can create a WordPress blog and their are a lot of themes and plugin that can help you create beautiful squeeze page and some are free to create.
  • I am confused. Are you looking for a FREE Lead Capture Page or FREE Autoresponder?

And are you planning on making money by teaching others how to do everything for FREE? You use Lead Pages and seem to realize first hand that their are costs related to having any business even an online business.

You should be upfront with people.

    Tell them the truth...

In order to become an Entrepreneur who makes income for themselves...costs money.

    Every business has expenses.

If someone can't afford to 'invest' in their Internet Business, then they really shouldn't get started until they can.

    • Let me get this straight.

You want to create a product (that you will give away) on "how to get your 1st 100 email subscribers for free in one week" and you want us to tell you how to "get your 1st 100 email subscribers for free in one week"

  • 000webhosts can offer you what you want. Try to build your squeeze pages in Amazon s3.
  • You can just give them a basic free HTML squeeze page.
  • You'll never profit trying to teach people something you don't know yourself.

  • I have never used these services to create opt in pages for me.

It took me months to learn but I have mastered building opt in pages myself on my own website.
You can hire someone to teach you or learn this skill yourself.
