What are some effective internet marketing tips you can share when selling a product?

Hi guys!

Does anyone here care to share their own personal techniques when selling a product on the internet? If you have results that would be really very interesting to hear. Regards.

Hi! You probably won't get a whole lot of details because no one is going to give away their secrets. However, one technique comes up again and again because it is effective.

Create an email list! Getting people who are interested in your product to sign up for your list means you have a captive audience. They WANT to know more about what you're offering. Best part is, the list is yours. Even if Google changes it's algorithm and you fall off of the search results pages, you still have your list. If Amazon bans you from their KDP program (for example). You still have your list. Your list is yours. If you treat your subscribers good, they'll be a huge asset for your business.

Cultivating an email list does take work. There are many ways to do it. Just search around and you'll find the most effective methods.

    Hope this helps!

I agree with Brad. You need to create an email list that you'll then use to promote affiliate products or your own products.

Start by creating a great landing page where you send traffic to, and where people get a bonus for joining your email list. Then, keep sending people to this page, keep growing your list, and make money with it.

The best way i can recommend is dont sell a product. Write a review about a product... you will be giving the customer valuable information and selling them without them knowing. Back door approach at the end by saying something like, "because i had such a great experience, i recommend you try it here " with a link

Do some research first to see what your market is interested in (what they are buying).

That will remove a lot of guess work for ya.

    Here are some tips:

    - Do opt-in email marketing

    - Don't buy leads from a list brokering company

    - Invest into paid advertising alot

    - Make sure you sell in a niche market

    - Since you're new, i advise that you don't sell in the "internet marketing" and "business opportunity" niche

    - Learn copywriting

    - Keep learning always

    - Don't ever give up

    Good luck!

    1. Send Free Samples to Influencers who can recommend your product to their followers.
    2. Promote your product through blogging.
    3. Build an email list of your previous and potential customers to get your information, products, and content into their personal mailboxes.

First make sure the product you're promoting solves a BIG problem or question people have. Then position yourself in front of the people who have that problem. You can do that by building an email list or running Facebook ads for example.

I highly recommend not direct linking to an offer... always create a landing page and capture the lead first, then redirect to the offer. Especially if you're paying for traffic.

First you need to know who your potential customers are. What are their demographics. Once you have the information where online are they hanging out at?

Pay Per Click marketing is very targeted and your putting your product in front of them as soon as they are looking for it.

Facebook is insane for traffic but it takes a little more work to convert that traffic. Hopefully your building a list and leveraging your existing marketing efforts.

  • Thanks for all your responses! I have a landing page already and everything is set, maybe just a little bit focusing and narrowing my audience is the key component to grow my list. You have all been helpful. Again, regards

    Hey Useful Survival Tools

Hope that this posts finds you well

I 100% agree with the posts before mine and as a Copywriter, the top tips that I can give you on selling a product effortlessly is #1 - knowing WHAT you are selling and #2 - knowing WHO you are selling to.

These two points are extremely important and of course there are many more proven techniques that I can tell you about as well and if you'd like to know more, please PM me :-)

Just my two cents but I hope this helps!

    Take care!

People love free as in FREE shipping, but that is not all and here are my programs:

    • FREE SHIP - increases sales 2X and we see as necessary.
    • FREE GIFT - increases sales 20% and is a great way to improve your margins.
    • FREE BOOK - increases sales 10% and each e-book download costs you approx one penny.
Try to get your free e-book on social media such as twitter and make sure it is filled with valuable useful information and it is not more sales copy. People need to feel they are getting something of value when they get your e-book so add in videos and images. This will break up the blocks of dry text in your body copy.

I would recommend to choosing a niche that there are naturally hungry buyers in. Then your product would have to fix a problem that is common in the niche. Make sure it stands out from all the rest, and don't be cheap with the quality of the product either.

Do your research and be ready for some frustration through the entire process because it isn't a smooth route at all. To expedite the process however, you can hire freelancers to do some of the dirty work for you, this will take some of the weight off your chest so to speak.

    Some good tips here already.

My two cents: Don't be afraid to sell. Or you'll go out of business.
