Blogging --> Importing Other Blog Feeds ??

Hello everyone,

Let's say you own your own blog and you blog yourself regularly but you also find there are other blogs that can be of value to your readers. Is there a way to feed their blogs into your blog and not get penalized by the search engines or is this considered duplicate material and would lead to lower ranking for my blog?

I was told that I could feed content into my website from other websites but this may be out dated information now.

Only interested in White Hat marketing methods.

    There are widget and plugins that make feeding your blog using feeds from other blogs easy.
