Questions about niches

Greetings, I have some a question regarding the approach I should take for different a certain niche. Assuming it that I've done my research and found the below examples low hanging fruits...

Niche: Plus-sized dress for women.

Findings: First 2 pages of google lists sites which SELLS these stuff. I do not have any product but I have information like tips to select plus-sized dresses, how to find the correct size when buying online etc.

Question: Should I be targeting adsense (as clicks go between 10¢ to $3)? Should I be targeting affiliate marketing? I'm worried about ranking as the competitions sites are really retails and have long-standing reputation with Google. That aside, I found a domain which has very high searches and low competition. I do understand domain names which fit search queries are often ranked higher.

Psst. Just go for it. Try them both, see which does better.

Chances are, provided that you consistently create content for the site it will rank for all sorts of keywords that you never anticipated.

What if google kw tool gives me very low search results for ALL other keywords related to my niche? For example how to find the correct size plus sized dress gives no data?

Do I still continue this project?

Yea, no matter what anyone tells you there is no set in stone technique that works. Try a mixture of adense and affiliate marketing, see which one is making you a better profit and then if the percentage is large, drop the other one.

The thing about people shopping for plus size clothes is they will need new clothes (like anyone) but with their options limited, this will give you a strong advantage if you can market to them over and over again. Why not try to build a mailing list and you can send out affiliate offers over again instead of just one sale or click.

      Good luck

when you say low searches, how much are you talking about? If you get 20 keywords at 3-400 searches per month, I would say go for it.

You will pick up other keywords and searches you dont expect.

I would go finding the affiliate products for that niche first and see how good it converts (check its EPC in various affiliate networks, etc.) if it sounds as good as clickbank products or diet stuffs, go for it. If not, try adsense or other advertising networks.
