Since nowadays the competition is using auto-flagging softwares, is there any way to fight that please?

  • There are already a few threads covering this (Search Button).... But just to seem helpful i would say you are wasting your time, the people using that software guard their territory fiercely...
  • I did a search for "auto flagging sofware" but that did not produce any results. So then what happens if 10 competing services use auto flagging softwares? I am sure more than one person is doing it.

  • Advertise somewhere else?
  • Not sure how or even if you can fight against this. Craigslist obviously doesn't care, otherwise they would've done something about all the false flagging by now.
  • I gave up on Craigslist years ago because of this auto flagging crap. It's not worth the time and stress. Sadly, Craigslist has turned into an Internet cesspool.

    • The best defense against competitor flagging is to diversify your ad content. That means not leaving any obvious predictable campaign footprints that your competitors can latch onto. So, make sure you use multiple ad versions (titles, text) which are at least 50% unique from each other. Also several different phone numbers and images in your ads.

The point is that your competitors simply cannot flag every single ad. So, if they cannot detect that all your ads belong to one business, it makes your campaign less vulnerable to auto flagging.
