Driving Traffic - Need Some Guidance

Hey guys,

I'm almost finished with a business-to-business site offering video production services to small-to-medium sized businesses. The site is not 100% complete, but you can check it out, if you're willing, at... Best Biz Toons |

I'd really appreciate some help/advice regarding good ways to drive business traffic to the homepage without having to begin by spending lots of money.

Initially, I think I may want to target a geographical area, although the service I offer will not be limited geographically.

I don't have an email list, but I'm sure there are ways to begin generating traffic.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Learn how ppc or pay per click works. That is your best bet. Once have a little of this targeted traffic you can see what your website does or how it converts. Start small with your traffic till you understand what its going to do.

    You can start for as little as 20 or 50 bucks per month. You can even create new accounts and ask for a promo code. Once you grab the concept say at Bing you can move over to Google and get a lot more traffic.

      Great advice. PPC is a great way to drive super targeted traffic. And it is very high quality traffic as well.

    In the business niche, free marketing will probably bring you slow results. Paid advertising is your best friend here. If you do Bing Ads and Google AdWords.... make sure not to get your domain name banned from their database.

    As mentioned above you can get 100$ bing ad coupon to test how your site is doing. Make sure you use ppc tracking service to know what ads and keywords will convert for you. Than run only those that make sales and invest, transfer campaign to Google. Thanks :-)

    Free traffic methods that have worked me include YouTube video marketing, forum marketing, and networking in relevant Facebook groups. If you want more detailed advice, PM me.

    There are many ways to drive traffic to your website. There are the free methods such as blogging and using various types of social media such as facebook, youtube, but without doubt for the best and fastest results nothing beats paid strategies such as PPC (cheapest). You can also use youtube and facebook as paid methods too through youtube ads and facebook ads.
